For real, one of Fabricio's greatest achievements, other than being the only person to beat Fedor and Cain, is that he started in the era of specialists and was able to get through to the true mixed martial arts era and still continue to win fights. Not many guys can say that.

I remember when he was just a BJJ guy that had to get you on the ground to have a chance, he really grew a lot as a fighter. Not very many guys from the OG days when most fighters were specialists were able to transition into the real mixed martial arts phase and still be successful.

After that though, there's several guys 4-8 that are real close, Werdum, DC, Nogueira, Mir, Overeem. Even Cro Cop, JDS and Ngannou up there. But one thing you can't take away from Fabricio, is he beat Cain and Fedor, dethroned both of them when they were seemingly unstoppable. That's pretty insane.
