The thing that absolutely blown my mind is built in wiring diagrams for various circuit boards and ability to preprogram many arduinos versions so you can diy your rumble motors, leds, inputs, buttons, rotary encoders, fans etc. This is unbelieveable, I d never thought it was all done by one man. Close to infinite IQ indeed. Hats off.

One of my favorite things is the ability to name an Arduino project, for example a "button box" so when you open it in any game it will show up as the name "button box". It is something I could never figure out when making a custom script. It gives dummies like myself the hope that custom projects actually work haha

Simhub lets me use 2 buttkickers, an 8 channel vibration motor seat cover (HF8) and a wind kit all with full customization and key/button binds to adjust things on the fly and I barely scratch the surface of what it's capable of. That its donationware is crazy. I hope he makes a decent living off his hard work.

Excellent interview - good choice of key questions. Good to finally see the legendary Sim Hub creator in the flesh. Fantastic support for sim racers. I've been using Sim Hub since I saw your video on the tactile transducers and have had great fun experimenting with them - Nobsound amps and Dayton bass shakers, as well as with many of the other Sim Hub elements - Fans, Vocore screens, LEDs, matrix displays, ambient lighting ... He has made the Arduino setting up super simple with pictures and check boxes rather than having to spend time becoming an Arduino expert.

Absolutely top class! Without simhub my Frankenstein rig with home made load cell pedals, button box, formula wheel, sequential and hand brake would not work anwhere as well as it does now with simhub. I had no idea it was the creation of one man! it's so well made I just assumed it was developed by a team of people. Absolute Legend.

Content Manager is overrated (don't get me wrong, we should all be thankful to anyone who adds something to our hobby, but simhub value is.. just a different league). I would add to the list people who are able to CREATE the physics engines like Aris.drives. Probably Niels seems knowledgeable but I don't know how he ranks and if he added something to the sim racing "production"..

Have you tried recording audio at a trade show in a hall filled with people with race car engines being revved?

Genuine thoughts as a sound engineer. You could try running the audio through nvidia broadcaster and use the AI to reduce the room noise, it can be phenomenally effective. Regardless, thanks for your video! Really appreciate the content, I just got my first DD wheel and motion rig.
