During planes of Power, if you can get to warmly with Upper Guk frogloks, you can quest the wood elf illusion. To raise faction, either kill lower Guk frogloks or any froglok Old Sebilis. The highest faction gain is by killing undead frogloks in Old Sebilis, i.e. the crypt. The wood elf illusion is a very nice item to have since it does shrink down your character sprite, but it’s also good for evil races.

Ill keep this in mind. I intend to spend lots of time killing dead frogs, but i also plan on spending lots of time in seb.

Plus it looks bad ass, I loved the Robe of the Ishva and Shiny Metallica Robes a few of my early day robes. Until Crimson Robe of Alendine. I have never researched or made anything as far as I can remember, I was lvl 32 when Kunark came out and 55 when Vel came out, something like that. I do remember doing the Staff of the Wheel for the Ice Comet spell, which was a good spell as far as tool tip goes, but was resisted WAY WAY WAY too often, IMHO. So much I never used it. I suppose I never had those spells that were researched. I did Quad kite tho, as well as spam AoE Kitchen in Seb. 3 wiz, 2 chanters and a Pally. AoEs back then had no limit. Pally pulled 50 IDK a s-ton, spam mez, spam aoe, rinse and repeat. After Seb you could

An invis will do fine. Just dont get stuck without it like Zainer did. Also quarm doesn't seem to suffer from that one ghoul right inside the live side ZL like green did.

​@@danmolina2724 Just do #4 (which is the standard live-side entrance). It's easy enough to get there (to Evil-Eye, at least), just look out for the rather fast pacing minotaurs, as they do occasionally spawn as see-invis mobs. In my experience, it's not too often though. If going to the dead side for the Guise, it's a bit more rough, though. If you go by live-side #2, then you gotta know where to jump past the pit trap (or have both levi and invis, as the mino in the pit most often sees invis, so it can be hard to get up from there). And the minos there also sometimes see invis as well, of course. And getting past those would still often leave you with the later see-invis gargoyles at the dead side, if someone is not camping those at that moment. It's a bit easier going back to upper and heading down through #7 instead then, and then towards the Store Room (with both the Assassin and the Supplier nameds). From there, you need invus vs. undead, of course - and there are still bats in that path as well, who will see you then. But they're more often being taken out than the gargoyles, at least - which is why that path is mostly preferred. So, that'd be my advice, at least 😉

So I took #4 on the upper guk map - found out the greater minotaur sees through invis - but made it there and got a bag and stone 8)

Ifs funny you say guk is really complicated. I can go through upper and lower guk no map no problem because of all the TLPs ive played. You ask me to navigate any starter city? Im completely lost

In time I've gotten a lot more familiar with it, but at first its just the same halls everywhere and weird aggro ranges...
