That's a ridiculous price. A 100% aluminum body Kirkham weighs about the same at 1/4 the price with the same drivetrain or better.

They have been talking about a carbon cobra for over 10 yrs. Any real Shelby enthustist would covet the aluminum version. No racer would risk 1.2 mil. So it leaves the collector / art buyers. I dont really think this car lives up to that quality. Just look at it closer in slow motion. You will see the defects. So I agree with you. it is way way way too much for a garage queen. give me a driver in fiberglass or aluminum any day. I bet F5 or Superformance will have a carbon version before long anyway.

what makes it not street legal? it looks like it has headlights, brake lights, turn signals and a windscreen which makes it street legal

Don't even need a windscreen in the UK to pass IVA. But the seatbelt anchor points need to be tested. I don't know if the chassis is carbon - doesn't look like it.
