As a youngest my godfather, a WW2 veteran, brought me to a VA Hospital in Pittsburg PA. He introduced me to many of his friends there, some with horrible injuries. They were all very cheerful and loved to chat us up. As we were leaving my godfather said none of these guys will ever walk out of this place and look we are. He said remember one thing in life no matter how bad you have it someone else has it much worse. I never have forgotten that day and the words he spoke that was more than 50 years ago now.

True. It’s worse than media. This problem is bleeding into workplace and interactions. People get worked up over things that never happened, will not happen. Many things are occupying premium mental real estate. Not one thing I was working on was real or had a prayer of becoming manifested in product. (Still true). Once you discern this, difficult to stay.
