This was such an underrated masterpiece. It really meant something for me. I’ll never forget the day I saw The Lego Movie in theaters back in 2014. I can’t believe this didn’t get enough attention because of the popularity of Frozen at the time. What’s even worse that the movie didn’t get nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards the following year. While I understood Big Hero 6 won the award and had a better story than Frozen, The Lego Movie could’ve won that Oscar. IMO, the movie had a special place in my heart and will continue for years to come.
