The Leica SF 26 Flash - Much Less then The Leica SF 24D

Kinda new to Leica TTL flash on film. Are their new for digital TTL backwards compatible to film such as on an M6 TTL 35mm. An SF-24D or SF-60? I'm using SF-20 before.

The SF24D works perfectly on film and digital TTL as does the 40 and 60.

I will soon. It’s not been busy for events lately and I really like to put it through its paces at a full event. I did post a video from my Canada trip with the event from that - it was all shot with the 24D

How do you trigger it if set to slave mode?

If you are referring to the slave light in the video that was a slip on my part. But using the on-camera SF26 with an off-camera SF26 in slave mode works well.

I have the SF24D….with both diffusion panels. Don’t why this flash has reached cult status.

I mean I love the flash and it is pretty accurate but I really don’t know why either. Maybe I’ll wait a little longer and then sell it for a grand 😂😂
