The track "Who's Gonna Buy?" was certainly used in some British film and TV, usually in its instrumental version. it's a superb track with and without vocals and the album is fine psychedelic rock - great to have it here!

This genre is my thing. Love garage rock. Psych rock. Underground garage bands. Studio musicians or session players are an interesting lot. This album being part of of a sound library is really far out. It's loaded with great psych sounds. The coolest instrumentals. An awesome rarity.

Hi TheBestDream, I'm proud of you, you release some totally unknown albums. In Spain in the 70s, very few things arrived, only the most classic. I see that there was a lot of musical activity, varied and rich, including Frank Zappa, who was musically ahead of all times. Thank you very much, you are giving us a lot and I thank you from my heart

On first look, I thought this was by 'THE LEMON PIPERS', then why would it be with ''LED ZEPPELINS" Debut Album I wondered. I took a listen to the 'LEMON DROPS' and it was good. The Band's name STILL Belies their sound. I thought I was going to hear something like 'Green Tambourine,' but NO. 'Green Tambourine' was a great song. Please, don't beat me up. Lot's of people from the 60's love that little song (old foggy's.) by the 'THE LEMON PIPERS.' I was young, and I loved that song too.

Music De Wolfe was specialized in library music production. I suppose The Lemon Dips was a project in the vein of Electric Banana/Pretty Things

I had one of these by a famous British rock band recording under another name. Something about electric banana 🍌? Cool 😎

"both Studio Musicians & Touring Musicians don't ever get any recognition because they are hired for a specific recording session or for a certain touring gig,some are regular members of bands or a backup band for some singer, this sounds kind of like the Door's with a better sound however,the names of the musicians may never be revealed because they never received any attention by the recording industry and this was evidently the only album that they put out, and it wasn't on a major recording label,very good."-🌐🌎🌏🌍🌐..

I never expected to hear vocals in a library recording. This is a first for me but then I'm not anywhere as familiar with Music de Wolfe as I am with KPM and Bruton (since plenty of recordings from said outfits have been posted on KZbin).
@maxmerry84704 жыл бұрын
The Pretty Things also did a handful of LPs for De Wolfe in the 1960s/70s as "Electric Banana".
