this melody is of course originaly a french folk song. like elvis says in "blue hawaii".... the little music box he gives her grandmother "plays an old european love song" its actually french called "plasir d'amore look it up. also "love me tender" was really the melody of an old confederate song from the civil war called "aura lee"
