maybe you did not put the boot0 boot1 inside the correct folder. It should be inside backup/alphanumericfolder/emummc/restore/

Thanks I was able to troubleshoot the switch I bought that was stuck on the second logo, now it launches but the wifi does not work, from what I found on the internet a problem on this wifi chip can brick the console on older firmware but not on recent ones, if I understood this tutorial I updated the console firmware by directly modifying the console files? Hello, could you tell me what method I could follow for an OLED switch that has a purple screen? When trying to restore the nand it reports "failed to init", it seems that it no longer communicates with the emunand? This console was used for a while in the dock, after which it presented this error and never returned.

you can do what I did in the video. but if the emmc is corrupted, you need to replace it and try to do the level 3 unbrick guide. if u have the backup nand, you can try to restore it

if you used a Picofly chip, please discard it and use either the instinct-nx or hwfly. Pico could damage the emmc and it is a known issue.

​I have basically the same problem but i can restore the nand but then i get pkg2 read error. The backup is known to work, i made an emunand from it to test it. When i flash boot0,1 after the full gpp the partitions get wiped. Do you think my eMMC is dead and needs to be replaced or i can fix it with instinct and maybe reflow?

Do you have a specific guide for if my switch, following a hard freeze during a game on my emummc, now only boots to the Nintendo logo or to Atmosphere once I launch it using my Hekate injection as usual? I am given a black screen in both instances and not sure if your in brick guides cover this exact scenario. Thanks

Hi, I need some help. I got stuck with the 2b error and hence I started out with this guide. My sysNand boots fine and it was the emu that was causing the 2b atmosphere panic. What happened was as below: 1. The back up step did partial restore because of no space in the emuNand partition. I do not know if this is a problem but I am stating that for completeness. I moved out the bin files to pc and completed the backup. So now my backup folder has boo1 and boot1 and rawnand.bin.08 to rawnand.bin.14. 2. Completed all the other steps and at the restore step I got a file not found when I tried to restore boot0 and boot1. I moved these to the emummc folder instead of leaving it at the restore folder and that did the trick. But then restore ALL option was grayed out - I assume this is because of step 1 partial back up issue. Now when I launch cfw I got stuck with pkg1/pkg2 mismatch, old hekate error. Now I have no idea what to do. Do I go level 2 (even then wont step 1 still be an issue) and do all steps there for my emuNand partition. Should I do level 1 for sysNand to get its firmware up? If so how do I fix the emuNand not booting into cfw? Also ny sysNand is stuck at 12.0.1 version, so I am not sure if that is an issue. Also I did extract the latest HATS onto my SD card and I do have a nand back up on my PC from when I did the CFW for the very first time. Can you please help me out?

you did not do it properly OR it is caused by a bad game. try to rename the Nintendo 3DS folder to any name and try to boot your console again.

Hi, does this method risk getting my console banned? I’ve never hacked it before. Since I updated it, my Switch has been stuck on a black screen, even when I try to force a restart. I erased the data through safe mode, which still works, but the black screen persists. It’s a V1 model, probably unpatched since I bought it a few months after launch. I have Erista which does not boot (black screen 15V/0.4A) to sysmmc, but cfw/atmosphere works. I tried this guide with latest FW but still does not boot to sysmmc. Any other method than systemwipe? Thanks!

This could be affected by the modchip itself. What modchip do you use? it doesnt mean the emmc chip is damaged but the modchip could sent a fake signal about it.

It did ….I accidentally booted into Sysmmc and used daybreak to downgrade 18.1.0 from 19.0 and stuck with black screen….I followed this guide and used 19.0 firmware on Hexmmc program….it worked But Wifi is not working in both Emummc and sysmmc

After doing this on ofw(sysnand), will i be able to play online without getting banned? I was randomly getting a pkg1/2 mismatch error or black screen depending what i click, so I restored the BOOT0/1 from a very old backup (when i was on sxos before switching to hekate/atmosphere). Now, if i start ofw without hekate or use the semi-ofw option, i get a black screen. If i start sysnand with cfw, i get the "Erista pkg1 on Mariko" error. If i start emunand with cfw, it works fine.

You selected the wrong console type. your console is Mariko, but you chose Erista. You can re-unbrick the sysmmc using the guide, and choose Mariko

When i try to copy in the files (registered) into the mounted drive, it just doesn't want to copy over. i see it jumping between percentages (going up and down randomly, doesn't make sense). Also i noticed that in NxNandManager, the FW.ver says "NOT FOUND!". Not sure if this is an issue, im trying to use fw 18.1.0 (the one that does require a reboot). I also tried restarting my windows explorer and tried all 18.x.x versions of NxNandManager. Any ideas?

You can use Hekate to restore the files to your console. the FW not found is not an issue.

Hey so as far as I understand, hekate can only do a full restore. Not sure how I can use it to transfer the generated "registered" folder files. I tried restoring and doing the entire process again and the same thing happens. I can delete the existing registered files but once I copy new ones it just stays at 0%.
