Our church recently added some deliverance ministry stuff and finding clarity on what I believe on a lot of it through prayer and scripture has been made much easier by adding this to my studying. Funny story as a kid, I wasn't too interested in reading the Bible and thought it was boring until I heard about the Leviathan. As a kid I was just like "whoa! dragons that's cool!" and went on to read more verses and really wanted to learn what the Bible says about the Leviathan and learn about what the ancient Israelites at the time thought about it. I didn't think about it at the time but I think that was the catalyst to actually study the Bible and my wanting to learn what the text is actually saying and not what people read into it.

I was introduced to deliverance by the Holy Spirit after I would cry and cry asking God, “why are my son and father and I always arguing, hating each other, so much contradiction but still yet we want to be together?” After some time I heard in the spirit Leviathan. I didn’t know we as Christians could have demons. This was new to me. I didn’t even know that word was in the Bible. As I did research and watched a deliverance video for the first time I felt something leave the side of my spine up and out, it hurt. This is when I realized there was much more to learn in my Christian walk.

Soo... Couldn't Leviathan be both a physical creature AND a demonic entity? In the context of Job, God uses known, physical creatures and their attributes to demonstrate His own superior nature and attributes. This pattern is repeated with Leviathan, who is portrayed as the ultimate of God's creation - the king over all the children of pride. It doesn't seem to be a stretch to say that He was using Leviathan to describe both a dinosaur/dragon, as well as Satan's characteristies and to demonstrate that God is above both of them, therefore we should submit ourselves to, and trust in, Him!

Fast answer is no. The job account is a spiritual creature, due to Genesis mandate, how God put all of creation under Adams control. Job specifically mentions no man can control it. So its not part of earthly creation

I seen a few videos making pretty good cases for Leviathan and Behemoth of Job to be prehistoric creatures. As for the fire breathing of Leviathan, a point is made that we have insects with chemicals that produce flares/flashes of light. It might be a stretch but the animal which was Leviathan might have had a light producing chemical in its mouth for some purpose.

Excellent discussion as usual. Regarding python for next week, a few years ago I felt pressed on all sides and didn't see a way out of various circumstances. Not sin just hindered. Normally I pray and it goes away. This time the Lord asked me to ask its name. I did and Python was the name I heard in my heart. I prayed against it specifically and felt release. I shared it with my wife and the next morning there were 15-20 dead baby snakes around our vehicles in a public parking area. Within a few days I received an unexpected raise in both jobs, relationships were mended without my acting on it, and random house problems stopped and never returned. It was definitely one of the most random spiritual experiences. That being said I normally don't ask names unless the Lord directs me to do so. I don't teach this experience as prescriptive (other than asking the Lord what to do), but descriptive.

I encountered what I believe were marine spirits after worshiping on the beach and sharing my testimony. I’m well versed in spiritual warfare but I don’t know much about them. These things woke me screaming at me that they wanted me dead and I felt in my spirit that they wanted to throw me off the balcony I was sleeping on. I woke up to this. They were different than anything I’ve encountered. I felt heavy and went inside to have my husband pray over me. Had no issues after that.

Not long ago I had a vivid dream. I was learning at the time how God speaks to his people in dreams. That night I was praying for the USA. I suddenly in the middle of random dreaming was taken to a place where I saw a dragon, (I don’t study kinds of dragons) but thought it was beautiful and golden yellow colors and each scale was luminous and it was so intricately detailed. I could see every scale and the horns. I thought wow! How could I imagine this when I am dreaming. Normally my dreams aren’t clear. Then I became aware of someone next to me and he was bright white and he said as I was looking “This is leviathan”, then I remembered Job but couldn’t remember what was said in the book of Job. Then the voice said “They will make changes and change the times.” When he said that I knew he was talking about the American government but I didn’t know what exactly they would change. I knew when he said times that it meant we would enter into a new season in our nation. I deamed this in 2022.

I had never heard of a spirit pf Leviathan UNTIL I had an unbelievable dream catching a giant fish which fought me (or I fought it) for so long and it twisted and I was in circle holding on to it until I broufht it out of the water and it fell by my feet facing down as if with open arms (its fins) And in the dream I said this is not exactly a fish but a monster and when I woke up the word LEVIATHAN came on my mind and I run to my Bible

A thought that is more psychological/logical. If demons are fallen angels then we can probably assume that demons are drawn to certain human behaviors based on the purpose that angel was created for. So each demon has its own name and probably searches for certain sins or to guide people towards those specifc sins as a means to live vicariously through that human.

Demons are NOT fallen angels!!!! Fallen angels had children with women. They were nephillim. When nephillim died their spirits had no body to function through. Demons are those spirits. Passing from person to person by INVITATION. They also are not attracted to a certain kind of person but demons do hang out in a family line passing down each generation. The invitation is when we agree with them even without awareness, or participate in something that opens door for them.

Thank you for what you share. I think an "issue" here can be that there is actually a scarcity of detail in the Bible on the specifics of the unseen realm, beyond allusions here and there. I mean, I know there is many accounts of exorcism, but the details of how the demonic operates, what demonic beings are "out there", what Satan's "kingdom" (as Jesus implies) looks like - this is referred to but not spelled like we moderns like to account for things. To me this DOESN'T mean nothing can happen or be learned that isn't explicitly stated in Scripture, because by that token we can't learn anything new about the physical universe that isn't explicitly stated in Scripture either. As long as the principles of scipture aren't being violated, I see nothing wrong with "learning on the job" when it comes to ministry where areas aren't clear. There's not much in Scripture about Antarctica or bacteria or many other physical phenomina or places, but we don't stop ourselves learning about these areas just because of that, do we? Surely the spirit realm is even more varied and full of various happenings! But of course we need discernment and His wisdom to seperate what might be true from what isn't, and inspired Scripture should in a deep sense be our "grid" and foundation... and it probably isn't good to spend too much time focusing the demonic. Definitely do more...this is a real thing especially in Spanish, African and Caribbean communities. It’s not just Charismatic. But be VERY careful, fast, pray and cover yourselves in the Blood of Jesus and behind the fire wall of the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 2:5) also your loved ones, esp children, and every area and aspect of your lives before doing so. Good resource, Agapekind here on KZbin. Do not go into this lightheartedly or arrogantly, these are entities with real power, not more power than the LORD God Almighty! There have been Strong, Mature Christians who went into this without the Anointing, Approval and Cover of the LORD and paid dearly for it. Henry Gruver May have been one such Brother.

Levithian is in at least 50% of the deliverances the Lord uses us for. It’s a very real demon. its also a commander demon, but its not that high ranking (meaning there’s others much higher in rank). The others throw him out first on the chopping block during a deliverance.

Good words. Also huge respect for Isaiah Saldivar. I think you're right about jumping to conclusions too quick in interpretation and the danger of speculation-based teaching. One thing Isaiah says sometimes is something like, "All of the Bible is of/in God, but not all of God is in the Bible." Meaning, there are things we can learn about God and the spiritual realm that are true and yet not explicitly found in scripture. On the one hand, I think he may be right. On the other, I agree with you that scripture is sufficient in helping us have the knowledge to get the work done. A lot of the critics who call people like Isaiah S. and Todd White false teachers don't listen to the sum total of their teaching, which as you said about Isaiah, quite consistently includes *repentance* from sin, submission to Jesus, and living holy. The problem with seeking names like this is that people in the deliverance ministry particularly, claim that someone is under the influence of said spirit. But these spirits cannot be affecting everyone, say like in yoga. They all get labelled as having a 'kundalini'. However, demons and spirits cannot be everywhere at once, as only the Godhead is Omnipresent and so a single spirit demon can only be affecting one person at a time (or a person can have multiple demons). However, fallen angels or fallen sons of God (watchers) can influence a nation and these would be referred to as principalities and powers as described by the Apostle Paul. Levithan was a powerful being who was around before the flood and maybe one of the fallen sons of God in Genesis 6. However, Job is describing a large creature like a dragon. Most of these powerful spirits are not bothering us as they will be effecting heads of state, governments and royalty. We read in the book of Kings that that God spoke through a prophet regarding the sending of a lying spirit to speak through the prophets to fool king Ahab into a battle. However, this was not an ordinary demon, this must have been a powerful principality who spoke through each false prophet one at a time. I believe that most people within the deliverance ministry are being mis-taught and are coming out with some crazy things just like those who claim to be prophets today and come out with utter nonsense that doesn't square up with the word of God. Everything must be discerned by Scripture.

I was thinking and thought I might have had discernment into the fact that while not all the devils/demons workings are explicitly explained in scripture (it does explain a great deal and I agree they are sufficient), Paul does say we are not ignorant of satans schemes and it seemed that he did have a pretty good knowledge of demonic activity. Could we therefore infer that the Holy Spirit can give revelation into how demons are working that maybe not explicitly stated but hopefully complimentary to what the Bible teaches? Would this be where the discerning of spirits gift comes in? Would love to hear your guys thoughts on this or an episode on that gift explicitly and your experience with it. I have also by the way listened to many of your podcast on demons, they are awesome.

And also the names they give can be functional, as in the spirit functions as Jezebel did in the bible, not that the name of the spirit is actually Jezebel, like a disembodied spirit of the person. Not claiming I have real wisdom, but my brother expected me to live up to this gamertag that jokes about my thumb injuries. So I prayed for discernment and soon found that Fort Carson of Colorado Springs is an anatomical dragon, when viewed from above on Google Earth. It looks a lot like a Chinese “luck” dragon or South American plumed serpent, with Pike’s Peak college and airforce hangars for its “feathers.” Among many other “coincidental details,” this giant serpent art has NORAD Road for a goatee, and its spinal column not only looks like a backbone due to the buildings used, it also has Clover Ditch running through it like a nerve cord or spinal fluid (despite a DoD engineer and common sense assuring me that it’s dumb to divert floods THROUGH the entire length of a base on a floodplain). The exact same dragon face is concealed in our 1$ bill when folded and held to a mirror. However, that version faces the viewer. The full entity (complete with “antennae horns” like the previous two images) also cropped up in a modern occult book made from gold leaf, which was picked up on the border of Israel last month. And again, it closely resembles Oriental and South American dragons, which are called gods of lightning, air, and *water.* Kukulkan, Quetzlcoatl, and Amaru are just a few of the reoccurring images of this beast in SA history… All resemble the sea serpent city-instructors of Sumerian iconography and lore. So while I can’t be dogmatically sure, I’m confident that I could defend a thesis on this subject. But only for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, since the Fort Carson thing tends to be handwaved as “pareidolia” by Coincidence Theorists. And I didn’t find all this on my own, it keeps landing in my lap over the years. 🤷‍♂️ EDIT: I should mention that I was delivered from transgenderism and New Ager atheism. This happened not long before my brother told me to live up to “Wisdom Thumbs.” We both had our share of extremely supernatural dreams and encounters prior to that, such as “Jinn/shadow people” attacking us physically at separate times (Jimmy was even impersonated by one in three separate households after his suicide). And our mother’s dedication to God and Spiritual Warfare was a major springboard for me after Jimmy’s suicide. So we seemed to be quite afflicted and compromised before all this, due to our own thoughts and actions and those of our father. But now God consistently helps me overcome life’s hurdles, putting myself and others in positions to help each other at the perfect times, and interesting phenomena and history keeps landing in my lap. Take all of this for extra context or what you will.

For a year or so I have seen your videos occassionally while scrolling through youtube looking what the algorithms has in store. It mostly was thumbnails like this though, so I always confused your show with all of that other nonsense some charismatics generate on the internet, content with no scriptural, theological and philosophical grounding and blatant lies people propagate. But I always wished there were some more theological sound content on youtube that were also open to the charismatic church (which I believe is one of the most important strands of christianity now and for the future, but also the one strand most plagued with lies and multiple leaders clearly not living out the scriptures.). When I saw your trailer and checked out your channel I had to thank God, your content is important now but will also be immensely important for years to come in the work of sobering up the charismatic side of the church and bringing unity by opening up other christians to theological sound charismatic christianity. I didn't know much about this but another sister at church mentioned it and based on most of description it seemed like it was true for example the twisting of the words and intentions and the breaking down of each other. Just to add to the conversation, in Job, God refers to the defeat of Rahab and that his two cohorts bowed in reverence to Rahabs destruction, though Rahab was not destroyed but thrown into the sea, and connected to what was then called leviathan. As an add on, Egypt was also called Rahab, but with slightly different linguistics. My opinion is that all these things are related, as nothing is accidental , and the pictures we get of a dragon a leviathan, Rahab, and Lucifer are all connected if not the same entity. Also, connected to the most prominent empires and kingdoms of the Earth just as in Daniel and Revelation. I think we tend to overcomplicate certain issues because of how the information is dispersed biblically, which comes more as a human invention, but if we just view the word as a totality 😊and have at least a base understanding of the entirety of its messages, much more will be clear.

I was delivered this afternoon from the Spirit of Leviathan and Jezebel. I was freed from addiction and fear. I knew I was under the influence of Python which surprised me to hear Levitation and Jewel and Levithan is a Python spirit. I learned they was trying to destroy me with self destructive and self loathing and cause my life chaos. The minister lady prayed and delivered thru the Holy Spirit and told me things about my childhood abuse. Things only I and God knew. She prayed for healing for my MS. Reading that they’re all Witchcraft spirits. I have a phobia of snakes and I dream of them. I was told by another minister that a serpent spirit had wrapped itself around my soul even though I was saved. Levithan confuses, coils around their body causing pain and suffering. Everything she told me all made total sense to me. Only God knew. Levithan is dangerous combo with Jezebel. I set free from Spirit of Idolatry and fear. I kinda already knew all of this somehow. It was deep in my spirit and I had 2 separate ministers confirm my feelings.

It is a spin-off of "you only need to believe in Jesus to be saved, you don't need to repent to be saved". I actually had a Charismatic pastor argue this with me, pointing out the the thief on the cross...massive error, massive ignorance of scripture and context. By the way I was raised Pentecostal and was affiliated with a Charismatic church and am Spirit filled. But I am seriously concerned about the continual errors being pushed by modern-day Charismatics, so much so that I steer clear of these churches.

I’d love to have an actual conversation with you about this. There is a practical portion we do deliverance but it doesn’t sound like how you are describing the charismatics. I have yet to come across a person that has one demon. There is usually a hierarchy attached to them. Also, I think demonic change their names. To be honest. Based on cultures, it’s to add confusion. But again, I lack the skills and time to really dialogue what I would love to share with you in the medium.

Job's Leviathan is definitely NOT a regular crocodile! Whatever creature it was, it was probably something we do not see alive today. Probably something more akin to Deinosuchus, Sarcosuchus, Mosasaurus, Pliosaurus, or Spinosaurus. Not specifically these genera, but probably something related to either of them or some other similar creature. But there are definitely creatures of the past that evoke this imagery of Leviathan far more than any known living animals. It's also described very much like a real created animal among other real created animals in Job. It's not unreasonable that these stranger verses are more poetic (or in the case of the breathing fire, perhaps a real biological ability) and attempts to portray how powerful and dangerous this animal is and how it cannot be tamed or caught because of its merciless ferocity. It's even possible this actual animal was the inspiration for the more "god"-like portrayals of Leviathan and Tiamat and thus why it's being referred to in such idolized terms.

So The Point Is That There Is Definitely A Hierarchy In The Domain Of Darkness. Like, Lucifers Nature Is Complex But Decipherable, He Is Cast As A Serpent, An Angel, An Archangel, A (Cherub/ Seraphim), The One Being Who Had Power Over Death And Ultimately The Dragon. That was the excess and false theology of that time. Today, we're more intellectual about our false theology. Pray, engage in spiritual warfare, but focus on the mission and character of Jesus! If you take this away from your analysis, you will see that the interpretation points more closely to a physical being. In sum, I believe Leviathan was/is a principality to whom a physical creature was attached descriptively e.g. Satan = serpent

When I deal with spirits I am not interested in the fancy names, I want to know what they are sent forth! Their mandate! For that is the root problem in the persons character. Not everything is revealed in the Bible. What did John write? If they had all written down what Jesus has done, the books could not be counted. Derec Prince did a lot of deliverance ministry so he had extra biblical knowledge! We pray for deliverance but if a person does not get free, we follow steps of pattern, as praying over Generations, Curses etc and we prayed from conception until birth and people got free! We are not only demonized because of our sins, we can inherit demons too or they are imparted through violation, rape and rituals. Guys not everything is mentioned in scripture for God wanted to give us a guide who leads us into all truth the Holy Spirit and not a to do list! The scriptures tell us, how God worked in history and works today but it is not a handbook that gives us exact instruction in every live situation or how to deal with demons! He left us the Holy Spirit as guide! And you are so on „to do the things right“ even that wish can lead you into deception! And yes there is charismatic nonsense and we have to decerne that too! But not all is revealed in the Bible, don’t you think, that the Holy Spirit can give revelation in the practical conduct, that surpasses the scriptures? For example: smoking is not mentioned in the scripture, but it is an addicting unhealthy behavior- so what? I know things about the demonic world I have never read, I have never engaged in the occult but when speaking with people they affirm it! Sorry guys as much I appreciate your theological zeal, not everything you say is right. And I am a liddle worried: for pride is a very dangerous snare who love to snatch those in apologetic and decernement ministries, so be careful even in your instructions you give .
