Who knew eBikes can have a luxury category? The Prodigy is so smooth and quiet in operation that it makes all other ebikes I've tested feel crude and cheap. Here's my impressions of the luxe Ride1Up Prodigy.

I have the same bike and agree it’s the best! One sweet detail with the Brose display is that it remembers the last power level every time, and if you set it on the time of day, it remembers that too and it shows up every time you turn the bike on with the correct time! So thoughtful of Brose. Specialized also uses Brose motors and for good reason. The beauty here is you’re paying 2/3 the price and you get 90 nM of torque, which is only available on the top of the line Specialized models. The lack of a throttle is not a big deal because the strong torque kicks in right away when you pedal.

I’d say like a nice Camry at best. Can’t be a Lexus without an internally geared hub and belt drive. The Lexus would be something like the Priority Current or Dost Kope.
