I have the LgC4 and it is very good, but if I had known beforehand the care that must be taken so that it does not burn or have image retention, I would have bought another technology. Having to zoom in on black bands, not constantly putting subtitles, static images, logos, not many continuous hours on. The image is really beautiful and everything works excellent, but I don't like to worry about what I see or not. And the image is still being burned and retained, the options that come with it do not protect it if the person does not have the necessary care.

@@tigresa821 I had the LG C8 for 6 years and only this year I have seen some very faint image retention.( Note that I used this C8 on maximum brightness all the time. ) Slight burn in where subtitles are , but that's because I used blue and green color text. If You use only white, gray or black color on subtitles, then this will never burn in. I have the 77" C4 now and it's absolutely stunning. Learned my lesson now. Neutral colour subtitles and should be ok.

They have a very aggressive ABL and APL. Its a bit better out of game mode but then input lag is 30-40ms. @@EldenLord. I don’t need a new main TV for my living room. I was looking for a gaming and monitor screen in 42-43” and g series dont go bellow 55”. I decided for QN90D because its really good for gaming and pc usage. It Has almost exact pq like philips oled818 just brighter. I had qn90d next to 818 and managed to calibrate it so that it looks very close to the philips oled and I’m now very happy with the picture. I wasnt able to do the same with qn90c too many things are off like usualy with Samsung. I was positively surprised how accurate are the colors, wb and all that stuff on qn90d for a Samsung TV because Im not a fan of their colors, usually they are totally off and with some adjustment the picture is now almost oled like just brighter. Sure there are still scenes where oled wins but I mostly play just racing games and they looked most of the time better then on c3 and 818 and for windows there is no contest both 818 and especially c3 are useless compared to a mini led as soon as there is some sun light in the room.

But you haven't calibrated colour to be in pair. Please fix that. At least set Film profile and turn on blue filter on C855. Also play around HDR, dynamic brighness and so on to achieve same effect as on OLED. To be honest profile against OLED phone or Macbook Mx (these has perfect color profile calibration). Just run some HDR 4K KZbin video where you have animals (zebra, chameleon, elephant, giraffe, pinging).

In my case my TCL C805k almost matched the Samsung S90C when I tweaked the picture settings especially the white balance. TCL QD MiniLED can suppress blooming to a minimal level and to the extent that it is unnoticeable, by which Samsung QLED TVs do struggle to achieve. The TCL also has a Local Dimming to have a deep black like the OLED.

I have had the TCL C755 for almost a year now and I can say that the motion picture is bad and I have never seen such a bad TV in my life. The panel itself is otherwise clean without DSE. Of course, I would also prefer a Sony TV when they are so much too expensive. For the 65" size, the Sony Bravia 7 costs $2,275 and then the 75" size costs $2,600. The Hisense 65U8NQ is much more affordable because it costs 1,340 dollars and that is almost 1,000 dollars cheaper than the Sony Bravia 7 and then, for example, the Hisense 75U8NQ costs 1,645 dollars, which is again a huge difference compared to the Sony Bravia 7. Sony is simply much, much too expensive.
