It's a pity LG phones are dying. My local T-Mobile store ran out of phones for the high demand. All LG phones are crushing. LG stopped making software updates and now phones can't keep up with new app updates. I just had to trade in my wife and my stylo 5...

G8X would overall be the best phone, for larger battery life, bigger screen and selfie camera. Although the regular G8 will have better screen resolution of 1440P and bigger PPI of 564, but the battery life is 3,500mah, which is not as good as the G8X's battery of 4,000mah. I'mma say for better screen quality, go with the G8, for the larger screen and extra features, go for the G8X! 😁

They might have to disassemble certain parts of the motherboard for it to be there, might be the CPU board or maybe the processor chip have to be rotated around somewhere. Again if it's possible, it can have one. 👌🏾

@@HudHarry Yes, I would say maybe at Android 9. On the update 10 or higher, people were having issues with the performance, camera, split screen and other features. Currently mines is at 9, if the update is higher than 9 on yours if you have one, I would hope and pray that it'll work properly and real well on it. I'm not gone think about updating it because of the random problems users were having recently with it. 😉

My lg g8x has some internet problems, for example when I'm watching youtube or opening the browser it runs smoothly at first then I close the application and open the application again it makes the internet connection disconnect... I have to turn on and off airplane mode to be able to connect to the internet again. . does this happen on all lg g8x? Is there any way to fix it

I find that the charging ports on the G7 and lower are overly sensitive to water damage. The V60 doesn't seem to have this issue, I wonder if its resolved on the G8 as well.

Definitely V50 for the screen resolution and maybe the camera too, but for the dual screen experience, the G8X would be the better choice!

Hey Matthew! I got this device since the 7th of May on eBay for $155 open box condition, it's pretty good quality for what I'd paid for! Unfortunately, it's stuck on Android 9 Pie, but I have the AT&T version, but also using Metro By T-Mobile. I wasn't able to update it, I went straight to settings and to software update, it said there is no new updates available. I'm hoping one day it'll be able to upgrade on the OS sooner or later. 👌🏾
