I love these guys since conception…….. but if they’re gonna keep playing same songs for the next 20 yrs☹️….. too young to not be writing new music?…. When they reunited in 15’ …. They came out with “heart of matter”.( great video ) too…. We all know Pete saves his good stuff for solo stuff…. But damn these shows will get old if these guys don’t get creative😘

My understanding is they're doing the festivals and then the 20th anniversary of up the bracket run pushing the reissue this fall (which Peter has already expressed reservations about) and then with the $$ they'll go to Jamaica to record the new album "before the year is out" per his words, but I think the real problem is getting Pete and Carl in the same room alone then add covid on top of everything. Pete being off the heroin makes the prospect of he and Carl being able to spend extended periods around one-another to do what they do a lot more believable. And maybe they'll be playing more deep cuts/b-sides they don't do on these festival shows for the up the bracket reissue flog? But yes, it's waaaay time for new stuff

Hey thanks for cordial reply …. Don’t get me wrong ….. I’m a big fan of Pete’s solo stuff ( flags of old regime , Salome, Hired gun, Babyshambles and puta madres etc. and love Carl …. His memoir is great ( three penny)

Well this is the 20th anniversary of of up the bracket so they are playing that album, I agree they should be writing more tunes. They are only early 40s and have plenty to say I'm sure
