Love the Libertines love this show... I only don't like the video director. This director is so concentrated on making it look like a music video with the constant tracking over the crowd that we hardly get to see the band. It's just fast tracking shots over the crowd and Gary's back. That's it. We want to see the show not random close ups of the crash cymbals over and over and what the show looks like from the very back of the crowd. Imagine recording this piece of music history and you only get like 2 minutes total of actual footage of the entire stage out of a whole concert.

The Libs would be nothing without Carl. His guitar riffs and solos add so much to the music. He wrote a lot of the music while Pete wrote the lyrics. Wouldn’t be much of a band without him.

I love them both and think they're both genius but when Pete got kicked out of Libertines... the Libertines fell apart and Peter went on to do Babyshambles which has some amazing tunes and they got fairly big. Carl could not carry the Libertines alone. Peter wrote most of the Libertines songs both music and lyrics and Carl added awesome solos etc.. but it's mostly Pete.
