I love this scene sooo much, how quickly it cuts to being Jacasta and the fact Eloise barely reacts. Over the movie she becomes so detached from what’s real, amazing to watch

I like the film overall, but the cgi on the ghosts are really distracting, and it made them less scary. I would’ve preferred if the men just looked normal but transparent.

Same here, but I thought the faceless men were representations of the Sandy forgetting the faces of the men that abused her and were murdered. Still pretty funny rather than terrifying or mysterious

I think the issue lies in how often they showed up. First time, yeah that was pretty creepy but by the last time they show up (and maybe even here), it’s not really in a scary way but more like “oh no, they’re baaaack” kinda way

The phone suddenly ringing got me😅 I like this type of jumpscares where there are normal events(a phone suddenly ringing or a car suddenly coming),they’re more effective than classical jumpscares

This is a good example of special effects being over-used When they are used so much they no longer become shocking - it takes away the suspense

The CGI of the ghosts legit look the same as Titanic 666 💀

The sad thing is if you watch the bts you can see the practical designs of the ghosts and they look amazing. They overlaid them with bad CGI after the fact for some stupid reason lol.

@@JW-dp4wehappens in some movies, if you check out other movies like Final Destination 4, they actually put some work behind the scenes and added some CGI to it but when it’s finished it doesn’t look as great…
