I like the way you film. You give us an overall view, no selfie stuff and you show nice details. Nice ! 👍

This place is still a great explore, there is so much left inside that every video I watch on the place reveals something new. The bit when you admitted you were lost cracked me up as it really is a big old place and the layout upstairs is a bit weird:) Thanks for the shout out, much appreciated😊

Lieutenant started serving on Submarines. Wouldn't catch me explore one even in dry dock:( Hope you find some more cool explore's soon, btw I regret not going to that poets place, still freaks me out everytime I see that staircase & hear the racket overhead. you did well to get round there. your very welcome a mention here & safe exploring!

Hi Abandoned UK, loved this video & all your other video's to. I love the way you take your time in showing us what you find in some of these properties. I did see Stares video on this, and like you I think Stare is really good & love his video's to. I always find it a great shame when someone passes away & there is no one to inherit or claim the deceased's belongings & there just left to rot away or get stolen. This guy must of seen a lot of life during WW2 & all his other adventures which makes it more of shame to see his home like this today. Can't wait for the next video. Stay safe. Andy.

Some of those items are valuable. The Dynatron is very collectable.
@AbandonedUK3 жыл бұрын
Haha! what's a Dynatron? the male owner was well travelled in the Royal Navy, hence the old photo's & lots of books on war, less on peace. So much history connected with this one. Thanks for watching & commenting

I can't thank you enough for your visits to these places. I particularly enjoy your great attention to detail and taking your time. Regards from Houston Texas. Do you have a favorite location? I like the Dower House and The Abandoned Walnut House. Stay safe my friend

Sorry about the late reply Maxx, just reading back on some comments & spotted this one. My favorite has to be 'The House of the Damned' which was up country in Derbyshire, really lovely countryside, the video is a long one, but stick with it at least see the inside of the old farmhouse, I also liked that one as it really was an adventure getting there, spending the night, then the freezing cold walk back down to Ambergate station for the trains home. My last house I visited was Lola's House, which had lots of history & a lot of items left behind, but sometimes it can seem overwhelming with what to put into the video. Thanks so much for your comments & stay safe, Regards Steve.

You should have liberated the HMS Vanguard items as they have no doubt now been skipped and probably burnt. Sad seeing someone's life trampled into junk and simply erased from history. Hope the spirit lives on in the house,

Surely that property has been left because of probate issues! The leaded windows are gorgeous btw. What a shame it’s been trashed. Great vid as always though 👍🏻

Like the vlog just too long, maybe would be better to make two half-hour vlogs, keep up the good work. do you have the link for stare? thanks.
@RevRSleeker4 жыл бұрын
Some Links below, but this is a long response, sorry :-) I don't agree with foreshortening but I understand that this urbex is becoming ten-a-penny on youtube these days and most seem to regard 15mins as the 'boredom point' for their viewers, anything more and folk appear to switch off. To be honest the stats do support this, and I'm 100% sure that this channel would far exceed the very modest subscriber base if he employed all of the little tricks that youtube actually suggest, most channels appear to use these 'filming techniques/time limits/ never film alone etc', there are lots and easily spotted these days..you rarely find 'hobbyist channels' any more, there are loads of people on a single explore these days and we're offered the same video places from different people, week in week out...it's tiresome and they think of themselves as STARS...no naming names lol. Some of us adore Abandoned UK's work all the more because he is a hobbyist and v rarely films with others.. the length of time he employs with all of his explores is what attracts many of us here..what you see is what you get and I personally missed it all the more a couple of years ago when he was forced to curtail his explores for many months because of work commitments... Why not pause it say at 30mins, or whatever is best for you, and go back to it at a later point...just suggestions, but no offence meant whatsoever. 'Stares' version of this house explore was 14mths ago, it is here; kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYPIp5Z3qKl0jZY Go back a few months further (feb '19) and you can see another channel's explore, Lost Adventures, you can see the progression of goods like tv's and silverware etc going missing and the house becoming more ransacked; kzbin.info/www/bejne/nl6UmqttZtSkrLM There are a couple of slightly older from this house but I cannot find them, sorry.
