Thank you for the upload. The artistic designs are beautiful. The life of Christ was covered well considering it was a 45-minute film. Quite an undertaking for its time. I truly enjoyed watching it. Thank you.

This is a tasteful, amazingly accomplished film for 1903! The coloring of Chomon was extraordinary, and the shots of Christ walking on water, were convincing. Perhaps the ascension owes more to Melies than was necessary, and the star and angels were a bit too elaborate, but the overall conception is a major step forward in the history of cinema. Nice to see a panning shot in the nativity scene instead of the stationary camera so common then!

Amazing. Very ambitious for the early years of film. What is the source of this film - was it on a DVD, or film print? I just uploaded a Pathecolor segment filmed on Amalfi Coast, Italy in 1919. The Pathe colours hold up well after so long. I was using a 35mm original film print. At the end is a little tribute to Pathecolour in which a few still frames from the Passion film appear.

Amazing, thanks for the upload. Can you give some information about the music? I suppose it´s not the original score or is it?
