Fantastic images as usual, I have a Sony RX10iv. Would the Nisi adaptor work on my bridge camera?
@anotherperspective30764 жыл бұрын
Hey, do you have the 24-600mm model? That should actually work pretty good, because you can zoom to long focal length and 72mm diameter is also supported (the longer the focal length the higher the magnification with NiSi). I's say "yes", but I have not tested yet

Terrific post, great shots, sound track, pic in pic, titles and narration. Last scene green scene background overpowered you a bit -suggest different background next time. How long did it take to produce the footage? (Much better than sparklers, in my opinion😁.) 🐞🐞🐞
@anotherperspective30764 жыл бұрын
Thank you Paul!:) Yeah, that's true, maybe that was a little bit too much😅 Actually I started creating this video one year ago when I founf lady bug larva and pupa the first time, but the footage was pretty bad (the pupa somehow jumped out of focus and I had to delete 7 days of timelapse footage). I ended up with good larva footage but the hatching scene was missing, so I decided to not upload that video. A few weeks ago I discovered a lot of them hanging on leaves and roses so I decided to give this project another try;)

Thank you:) I used a 1:1 macro lens together with NiSi macro adapter and filmed in 4K cropped down to 1080p. Because I used F11-F13 I had to use an additional light to keep the ISO below 800;) (above ISO1000 the compound eye looks pretty blurry...)

Honestly, the best video from you so far. Entertaining and top quality. We have thousands of those ladybug larvae in the garden and moved them around and gave them to other people, otherwise they would have starved on their birth place the apricot tree once they killed all the aphids. And now we don’t mow the grass because so many of them started their ladybug transformation. BTW: they even eat the eggs if they get the chance! Question: do you know how many generations they create within a year? I could as well google it, but hey I have an expert here 😉
@anotherperspective30764 жыл бұрын
Thank you Wolfgang, that really nice of you! Thousands? You should also make a video like this😅 Sorry, I cannot answer your question
@shirleyyoung66872 жыл бұрын
We never had many ladybugs in our yard, because husband mows them up too much. So now, I just get them from a nearby field, and have a very good supply !!
@wolfamri2 жыл бұрын
@@shirleyyoung6687 perhaps you can convince your husband to mow less or leave out a certain part of the garden. That’s what we do since we have discovered them. Aphids are getting a pest due to rising temperatures, and natural pest control is very welcome because they again are food for birds.
@shirleyyoung66872 жыл бұрын
@@wolfamri You need to come to my house and have a serious talk to my husband. There are patches of clover, and I tell him not to mow it is just clover!! Not weeds. He says he gets into a zone, and everything green is a target. He is not being mean, he just says it is hypnotizing to be going back and forth, and just does not see different patches! I have lost lavender, thyme, and roses, because I did not put large sticks, with signs on them!
