Thanks for making this! I bought some young shrimps that I'm going to guess are three weeks old based on this video! I'm so excited for them to be old enough and try having babies! Last time I got shrimps old enough to breed they all started dying off so I'm really hopeful to fix any mistakes I was making and be successful this time!

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. Our shrimp breeder told us our shrimp were 6 months old, I deeply suspected a typo as they're tiny (they're our first shrimp) they're obviously only 6 weeks 😂❤

My baby cherries are growing very slowly or i should say they arent growing at all! Its been like almost 2 weeks since i saw babies and they are barely the same size...all of them! Why is it like that?

Could be a few things. Just listing things on the of my head. Could be under feeding them. If you have shrimp food. Crush it up into a powder and mix it with their water. Can throw in a slice of cucumber or vegetable to add variety to their diet. Plus it's healthy for them. Hope your shrimp thrive! my neocaridina shrimp (cherries) are thriving in :ph 7.0-7.4, KH 2-5, and Gh 8-10.

You could blanch some cucumber or spinach.

No not for jus 5 shrimp. They wont eat it all and it may go off in the water which will possibly damage the water quality

Looks like I have 5 babies about 3-4 days old, without s magnifier, all I see is eyes. They are not walking, just darting around the upper part of the tank. Does not look like they have any interest in my moss. Is this normal?

Make sure it's not scuds (freshwater copepods). When I first started keeping shrimp, I was happen for nothing. You'll know to expect babies when your female shrimps are berried

Ghost shrimp have a larvae stage i wouldnt expect most or even any of them to survive

There were eight that made it for about a week. Now I've only consistently seen two. At what point do they stop floating vertically and stay on the bottom? I'm not really concerned about large numbers surviving. I understand that with an 'R' type reproductive strategy, I'm only expecting to have survivors after several clutches.
