Randy Meisner was the Golden Eagle with the golden voice.. He was a great bass player and a phenomenal singer/songwriter. "Take It To the Limit" and "Try And Love Again" are my two favourite Eagles songs, both written by Randy. He was very handsome, multi-talented, humble and kind. My favourite Eagle. RIP sweet Randy. Thanks so much for sharing the video of his life story and all the lovely pictures.

I love your reports! Please do Arthur Lee, and Gram Parsons. Both are not well remembered in the US, but are still popular in Europe. They are the type of musician, that other musicians talk about- very influential. Without Gram, we wouldn't have country rock.

Great voice, shy ,humble with devastatingly good looks and in possession of a certain vulnerability. This combination made him incredibly sexy. Randy Miesner was always my favourite Eagle. They weren’t the same when he left ❤

Randy was so beautiful! Voice of an angel and looks to match. I saw them in 77 on the Hotel California tour and he was awesome! My little 13 year old self was crushing on him so much,lol. RIP dear Randy. Love and miss you! 😘🕯️❤️🔥

Ooof that thumbnail pic is fantastic! Randy had very “kind” eyes, the windows to the soul and a gorgeous smile. He’s my favorite band member next is Timothy B. Schmit/bassist. Something about bassists, eh? 💖

I'd say most likeable. Several others were fine in many ways, and two are not on the likeable list.

Unreal, I was thinking of suggesting him! Excellent work as ever. It’s such a different feeling seeing these old photos when they were unfiltered and spontaneous. Can I ask, are you a musician, or is music a passion with you like it is with me? ( though I do play the triangle, lol.) I’m looking forward to watching your last couple of videos this weekend, I’m so glad you covered Maurice Gibb. Thank you again for a wonderful video 🤗 Edit l had no idea about the recordings with Ann and Nancy Wilson on them, I’m going to run to them, l love Ann!

In the beginning they were friends together, but Frey was a bully in the band,problems with Randy,Don F.,Bernie and sometimes with Joe too. How jeaulous Glenn was,he runied the band. END of the original Eagles. He regretted Randy left,he wouldn't come back again. Later on Don H, and Frey started to try again with new members, but they never sounds the same like before. Only Timothy was a nice one. On these days on their last tour it sounds totally not like Eagles. It was a disgrace to hear.

Vulgar German roots?!?!?!!
@HarmonyHeartsLifestyle-ul5yv8 ай бұрын
Volga German roots 😁 They are ethnic Germans who settled and historically lived along the Volga River in the region of southeastern European Russia around Saratov. I know I thought it sounded a little like that too 👍

@@TallyRocky Yeah these voice transcripts are weird sometimes. Once at work I was watching a zoom meeting and the professor speaking was shown as saying he would talk to his "coven." I was joking with him later and told him his Catholic church friends might be horrified about his coven! 🤣
