No singer like him, little guy with the biggest sound you’ve ever heard. Ultimate performer live and will never be matched, left us too soon but thank Steve for many hours of pleasure with that fantastic bluesy rock style that still makes me shiver.

I'm so happy to rediscover Marriott's genius. I always praised Marriott to my friends, who knew only his hit singles, and Steve Mariotte was noteworthy to anyone who'd listen to me. Thanks for your expertise. It's great!.

Small Faces are a truly special band. Steve Marriott's songwriting partnership with Ronnie Lane, lead guitar skill and incredible voice are some of the main reasons for that. Ogden's Nut Gone Flake is a masterpiece. They are up there with the great bands of the 60's (The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, The Byrds, The Monkees and The Zombies).

Thank you for this. Steve was such an amazing talent with an interesting life full of ups and downs, and of course, such a tragic end. He is my favorite rock hero. Very sad that so many younger folks have never heard of him. One of the greatest soul/rock voices. RIP 💔

Great singer, guitarist, writer and actor. He had the personality to back it up as well. It’s a shame alcohol and drugs messed his life up. He was probably too sedated in bed to realise there was a fire or realised too late and was overcome by smoke. A terrible tragedy.
