Profound and remarkable interview. It was quite a revelation for me and a reminder not to judge people by the image they project. Even how soft spoken he is was a surprise. Since I am not American and punk rock was never my thing, this was absolutely riveting. I so appreciate his generosity and raw honesty, and also you Rich - he had an interviewer, a human being, at the level of depth he was sharing. Thank you both.

Travis is the kind of dude that anyone would love to chill with, just like Rich. I've always liked him since Blink times. I'm glad that he was able to survive such a horrific accident. I could keep listening to this for so much longer. It honestly felt like 20 min.

Rich you are one of my absolute idols and one of the main reasons I went sober a few years ago. I am sober today thanks to the work that a lot of people like you (in the public eye) do. Your story inspires me so much. Your interview technique and panache with words makes your podcast so easy to listen to. Always so many nuggets to take away from each show. Thank you for the work you do and the energy you put into your online presence. 💜

I don't necessarily like audio only videos, I prefer to see the person as well but there is no need with a Travis Barker interview. Like this man is so zen and so chill and infectious in his energy. There's no need. I am really becoming a huge fan. Love him and its so sad and so amazing that he survived with the rest not surviving.I am so thankful he is still here. Love him🤗💜🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Thank you, Travis, and Rich.❤ This is a powerful story of life, success, and adversity. Whatever we face we have the power to move forward, no matter how difficult. Events in our lives are lessons to help us grow. Just as we have the fortitude to succeed no matter what it is. We have the power to change. Ultimately effecting the lives of others. We are all together. We have the power and decision to control our outcomes.

It’s like he was so intuned supernaturally to this event happening, even before it made sense to be a rational fear. It’s traumatizing because it probably had him questioning life even as a rockstar. Crazy because of the intuition he had about the crash… I think life is so much bigger than our own worlds we live in.

Bumped into Travis yesterday at a Vegan restaurant in Lisbon. He came in with a bodyguard and they sat next to me. Not being a Blink fan and not recognizing him at all i said where you guys from.. you in a band or something? I introduced myself.. he said his name was Travis and he was in a band called Blink 182.. umm. Of course i knew the band from years ago.. but it was pretty funny. I actually think it was refreshing for him to have someone not know who he was.. as numerous patrons wanted selfies with him. We shot the shit about cycling, retirement, travel and portugal….and of course RR who he informed me he was a guest on Riches show and were friends. I told him my Rich story of our mini AA meeting beside the stage at a vegan convention in Vancouver almost 2 years ago and how Rich is partially responsible for me being sober coming ip 2 years nov 1… after I said goodbye, have a great show and look after yourself boys I went and listened to this cast. Lastly.. i did all the photography on Final Destination, the death plane crash movie that Travis mentioned often during the interview. Weird how life goes round and round..

What I have heard about this guy is not impressive...he doesn't seem like a very smart guy. Basically, 50 percent of rock stars become addicts. Just like that nitwit drummer who could not stop his addictions and died a couple of weeks ago, this guy most likely does not have a long life ahead of him. Never get your diet advice from your political opinions. Get it from science, evolution, instinct and common sense.

This comment is a prime example of people judging a book by its cover. Travis Barker is genuinely a good human being. I met him a couple different times -once I met him briefly at drum program/camp for foster kids where he was a sponsor. There was no media or news reporters just this guy being a humble, kind, down to earth human being. We need more people like him.
