I interview Wendy Kier who is a digital nomad in Thailand. She tells us about her life and the online business she has developed as the result of her life experiences. Wendy is also writing a book about her life and she has just started a KZbin Channel (link below). Wendy is well travelled in Thailand and currently lives on the beautiful island of Koh Chang. In this interview she tells us why she decided to live on Koh Chang rather than the other Thai islands.
Wendy's life story is really fascinating and is a testament that we can all overcome trauma in our lives. It was a pleasure to have done this interview with Wendy.
Perhaps you might consider moving to Koh Chang now that Thailand is set to reopen to tourists with no quarantine in November.

What a humbling and inspirational vlog Pete , Wendy has done so well to break the cycle of trauma that she experienced in her life . He honesty is so moving . She truly deserves what she has worked so hard for. Wendy is very happy on the island . I will check out her channel. The cats made me laugh and at the end Pete where you made the crack about your channel shows how relaxed Wendy was as she laughed with you too great interview 👏👏

Pete, you really shine at being an excellent interviewer. You show genuine interest in your interview subjects and ask insightful, leading questions that can really get them to talking. Then you just listen without interrupting. Perfect technique. And as usual, you’ve really got the knack for ferreting out fascinating people with great and unique stories to tell. Keep up the good work! I’m hooked & subscribed!

Thank you very much. I really enjoy a good story and I really enjoy finding and researching them. I don’t believe a good story needs to be interrupted. I just guide the storyteller down a particular path and sometimes (like in this case)I just let it flow. Glad you like it mate, more to come. The search begins again

Excellent interview Pete. Huge respect to Wendy for her frankness & what she's overcome. I can relate to her in many ways. It seems Koh Chang is a place of special retreat for some expats...& it's no wonder, given it's beauty, nature & relaxing vibe. All the very best to Wendy. Worcester in Worcestershire, is located on the edge of the Malvern Hills & Countryside, an area known for it's outstanding beauty.

@@ThairishTimes definitely would be interesting, the situation has planted that idea of long distance remote working in everyone’s minds - plenty of people in England have moved away from cities in the past year, getting more home for their money and kitting out an office plus many companies staying with working from home as a long term policy. So the idea of doing it from another country is in many peoples mind. 👍🏻

not your typical digital nomad story I suppose. What I liked about Wendy's story is that even after the trauma she's experienced in her life she's able to turn a negative into a positive and earn a living helping others as a result of these experiences.
