1:00 Tom, It's NOT a tram; its a 2 cabin high speed osculating Jig back gondola. In the event we EVER had to; it can become a tram to use the main line as a guide rope and turn the "Tram" into a tram with the C shaped rescue arm them attach the cabin to it and the smaller rope powered by a Deasil pulls the cabin making it a true tram in even that something really bad happens. We can also use the Electric motor on 420 volts using the "Tram mode". There is even a way to run the damn thing in back up off the hydraulics of a Snowcat. She was Extremally well designed. Oh and on a final note, It's a giant lightning rod in the Spring and it CAN take a hit that arced through the triple redundant 24 volt controls while grounded like 50 feet underground and still work.

Btw; forgot to bring up... Tram Surfing on top of the cabins was almost part of passing the test to become a Tram Op. That was fun and fun to see in this video.
