My favourite secret life theory is that the canary curse wasn't actually disrupted, because lizzie never actually dies and is endlessly falling in the void! which is also why Scar kept getting the "win secret life" book, because he wasn't truly the last player left alive

I've also heard that theory! My favorite is that Jimmy passed on the Canary Curse to Martyn when he punched him at the start and onto Lizzie when he killed her and that's why she died first!

There is theory about the lore of secret life. The reason Scar wasn't killed off was since Missy is still falling into the void. This also keeps the Canary Curse alive.

Now I finally understand all the lore so I can tortu- I mean, loredump to my dad about it! (Honestly, he legitimately likes hearing me loredump about the stuff I like, which makes me happy :) )

This helped a lot because I haven’t watched all the lore streams or EVO yet thank you!!! But some things don’t add up for me, so I heard from a friend who did watch them, Martyn mentions Character Martyn isn’t actually a Listener, he just works with them And irl Jimmy doesn’t remember becoming one, so does this mean Character Jimmy isn’t one? Or doesn’t remember being of the memory wipe? Also I watch one of the (eyes and ears streams) where Martyn says the Watchers put Lizzie in the game in Lim Life as Pearl to test her and see if she’s ready but the Listeners put her there to give Pearl a break- so that’s confusing And if Lizzie and Joel are soulmates always what about Double Life when Joel was soulbound to Etho or the one episode in Secret Life where Grian was soulmates with Joel? (My assumption is that this was probably a one sided link) Edit: Sorry if this is a lot, I don’t get to talk about lore often ^^

Of course! It’s not a lot seriously I also don’t get to talk about lore much and I love to when I can too! To answer your questions the best I can: Martyn has said in his streams that everyone is just a player (except Grian) so Jimmy and Martyn aren’t actually Listeners. Also I don’t remember Martyn saying anywhere that he is working for the Listeners, he and them just have the same negative opinion about the Watchers. For Lizzie in Limited Life I only heard from Martyn’s streams that the Listeners put her in to give Pearl a break, I’m pretty sure Martyn didn’t say anything about the Watchers putting her in to test her. Your Joel soulmate question is a really good one! I never thought about it in that way lol. I don’t exactly know, maybe Etho and Joel were just soulmates for Double Life because Lizzie wasn’t in that season? That’s my only guess honestly and I just love thinking of the fact that Lizzie and Joel are destined to be together in every universe bc they’re just soooo cute (and literally meant for each other irl)!!! Hopefully this helps and sorry for the late response! :p

Technically, why aren't we the watchers? We watch the lifers play, and we enjoy the drama that happens just like the watchers. We also created secret tasks in secret life (the ones recommended by the audience)
