We'd never reach that level of greatness, you can't compare yourself to a musical miracle it's not fair, his conditions and atmosphere were entirely different than ours today like he was born to compose and was given by god that's why I don't think that someone will reach his level, only Beethoven and mozart in my opinion are close seconds and might rival him

JS Bach probably the most influential composer that ever lived Mozart Beethoven Chopin Scott Joplin and many jazz composers All were influenced by the music of JS Bach although in general Bachs music was never that popular until Felix Mendelssohn resurrected a lot of Bachs music and Bach is very popular on KZbin 300 years later Bach is still one of the most popular of all composers

... and Bach had fans with two classical composers, you might have heard about them, given that their names were Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven (Beethoven commented that Bach should be sea, given that Bach means broke/stream in German).

The Goldberg Variations were written by Bach for Count Kaiserling who commissioned the music to help him fall asleep. They are named ‘Goldberg’ after the virtuoso keyboard player who performed the music for the count.
