MM730 is one of those rare mice that have both optical switches AND an optical scroll wheel encoder. For me, mechanical scroll wheels rarely live more than two years. They just wear out soon. I have seen multiple Amazon complaints about Steelseries Prime and Razer Viper and Deathadder v2 that their wheel wears out even in just a few months! So what's the point of manufacturers bragging about how durable optical switches are if they put a crappy mechanical wheel in the mouse. Unfortunately, you can count on your fingers how many mice there are with both optical switches AND optical scroll wheel. And even those have some caveats or quality issues. I myself prefer heavier mice, they just feel more sturdy and more accurate when editing images and needing pixel accuracy. Unfortunately, there seem to be no heavy, durable, long-lasting mice with optical switches and an optical wheel encoder. If you know such a mouse, please let me know. I guess, I'll have to buy MM730, although it might feel fragile with its light weight.

What about that $300 mouse that's literally just the buttons. Isn't that supposed to be lighter? Is your title a lie?
@Lumfii2 жыл бұрын
It is, but it has a horrible shape ( ridiculous price, you can buy a hien and g pro x with that much and have 90 dollars left for your keyboard) even the final mouse starlight medium or mini is lighter and wireless then the mm731 but the mm731 has an ergo shape with really a nice weight, anything under 80 grams for me personally feels more then enough, I have never tried neither of those mice but it isn’t a big deal, as maybe this some light click bait which is quite common

@@Lumfii Apples to oranges. The Zaunkoenig M2K is an absolute top-top mouse for fingertip grip. Nothing even comes close in terms of quality (which is consistent to the last screw) and weight. It's painstakingly designed from the ground up by two german guys, producing one unit at a time, and the final product is carefully inspected before shipping, hence the 8 weeks of waiting after placing the order. Warranty is 2 years, but it has a 30 days full cashback, no questions asked guarantee as well. It's really on a different level compared to plain consumer stuff, so making comparisons with it is rather pointless. It aims for a very niche market (fingertip players with very high standards and a lot of money), and it's the very best money can buy for that market. They didn't cheap out on any component. I mean sandblasted aerograde carbon fiber unibody, full custom 4-layer PCB, japanese Omron D2F-01F switches, ALPS Japan encoder, ceramic coated polycarbonate wheel, PMW 3360 sensor (more than enough), STM32F7 MCU, driverless 8000 Hz, 0,7 mm thick virgin grade PTFE feet and a very light and flexible PVC cable with Kevlar strands, for which they even tell you what kind of copper wires and insulation they used. And free worldwide shipping ofc. If you want a big ergo mouse, just get a Pulsar Xlite / Pulsar Xlite V2 Wireless. If your hand size is ~19 cm or lower, you are prolly better off with a Pulsar Xlite V2 Mini (wireless) or a G-Wolves Skoll SK-S (aka Skoll Mini).

this mouse is really good but i found some weird problems i never seen with other mouse, i cant use it on my usb hub, it will mess up my audio for some reason.
@tommai781013 ай бұрын
Your USB hub is underpowered. Consider using a powered USB hub so that it can provide stable voltage and current across all devices connected to the hub.
