The 1.0s were fantastic but so underrated. It was a shame. I've been waiting for these forever. Such awesome shoes. Adidas is killing it.

Actually it was the norm in the early 2010s for adidas to make light basketball shoes, the adizero name isn't new and was first introduced in the early Droses and the first run of Crazylights (9.8oz, 9.5oz etc)

Dude reviews the Select 2.0 but never the first iteration 😂 Anyway just the quick breakdown of the First Iteration of Adidas Select Traction: Excellent Bite in Indoor Court but not so much in Dusty Court due to the Herringbone are close together so dust will be an issue so just one to two wipes should be good. Outdoor plays are okay because the grooves are thick and deep, and it has a lot of surface area. Heel to Toe: Heel is rounded and exposed. Toe is same as 2.0, a little bit flat but it has curve shape. Forefoot flex are stiff because of the full length stiff shank so torsion support are very great. Cushion: Lightstrike. Heel cushion is soft and have compression. Forefoot is also soft and have compression but sadly the court feel is not that great because it is a little bit higher. Materials: Cheap sadly. The base of the shoe is mesh and the textile and layers on the side for the front of the shoe for additional durability and support. Tongue is half booty and there were no padding in the heel. Fit: True to size. Your toe is close to the edge of the shoe and the toe box for me was very snug. Wide footers probably check this in store (most of them are in the outlets). Support: Excellent. It has a wide base, stiff plate for torsion support and the it is a mid cut so heel slip is not a issue. Weight: like 12-13 ounces I think for size 8 so wieight is a little bit heavy Looks: I like the 2.0 more especially if they make cool colorways for them. So overall for me, first iteration is better than the 2.0.

Have you seen how many shoes he reviews, I was in middle school now in college when he started reviewing shoes on the sole brothers channel, of course he’s gonna skip out on a budget not as mainstream shoe that most people are not gonna buy or probably not even watch the review, these shoes are gonna end up on sale everywhere before they even release another colorway, not every hooper wears shoes based strictly on performance some people could care less, most people want a 50/50 of looks and performance.
@calvin431911 ай бұрын
@adamkanizsai2990 yea you said it in more simple terms than I could, he can’t possibly do every shoe, and people forget that this is his job and all these shoes add up and take away from his profit margin,the videos also take a significant amount of time to make as well,if the videos don’t do well for a particular shoe it ‘s not helping him

so Adidas started to copy the durability of Jordan and nike on their performance Bball shoes starting on AE 1. 🤮. while chinese brands like anta has developed their ‘cement killer’ outsoles and 361 also has rubestech outsoles for longevity of the shoes. no wonder they are gaining popularity. miss the good old days where Jordans and Adidas used to be durable.
