This came on in a bar I was in out in Pattaya. I was occupied and couldn't quite hear it but despite my attention being firmly elsewhere, I was transported back to my teenage years as my mind recognised it and I tried to recall what it was. After leaving the bar and heading back to my hotel room, I then searched youtube for the only lyrics I could recall and eventually ended up here. Happy days.

Oddly enough the first time I heard an excerpt of this song was on Daria. It played during the scene where Trent is driving Daria, Jane, and Jessie back after they didn't go to the music festival. I didn't know it was on the Austin Powers soundtrack or that it was a cover from 60s groups The Turtles and The Bryds. Very cool track to this day in 2020.
