This is my last hunt for the year 2023 it was a great day with some real goof ups lost cell phone for almost an hour and a half and had to get a neighbor to come help me find it by calling it and then ended up finding some great relics!!

New sub here from massachusetts, great work Cliff!! Me and some buddies go to a permission I have on the cold harbor battlefield, on the confederate right flank and it’s still got trenches like your spot. Anyway, first time I had my Deus ll there I was getting #11 pistol caps at about 5”, I was amazed how much better a machine it is compared to my equinox ( which I loved). Civil war sites are so much fun to hunt, I dug my first .54 caliber gardner there. Anyway, love the channel, keep at it

Wow, a percussion cap. A soldier probably had fumbly fingers, dropped it, reached back into his bag or pocket for another, and took the shot....I hope. Lots of fired bullets, simply amazing, Hallowed Ground! Hats off, Respect... to them soldiers! What do you do with all your findings?

Thats some tuff digging but it paid off. I was gonna say that button was found and dropped by another digger but scene a dozier ran close by it could have pushed it up for you to recover. Thanks for sharing. New sub here. See ya next time.

Good video. What program are you running on the Deus2? If it's custom, what are your settings? I am new to the Deus platform and I'm trying to find a good Civil War relic program. Thanks!

Custom off Deus fast mode: discrim 6.2/ sensitivity 85 and up/freq 40.0 kHz/iron volume 7/reactivity 2.5/audio resp. 5/ threshold 0/ it can be tweaked up and down here and there, but has worked great for me in iron invested camps so far!!
