The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride Final Battle with healthbars

Kiara makes Simba realize he is acting irrationally, and flees to find Kovu. The two lions later find each other and profess their love. Realizing that they must reunite the two prides, Kiara and Kovu return to the Pride Lands and convince them to stop fighting. Zira, however, attempts to kill Simba, but Kiara intervenes and Zira dies falling into the flooding river.

It's not the same thing,I was thinking Zira was still alive when she fell in the river for safety or Zira drowned in the river.Mufasa might fell on the boars if Mufasa fell on it's horns or no boers weren't here before Mufasa's death.

Real reason: The deleted post board and animation, she looks at the river in fear, but then realizes the river was her chance to be with Scar again. So she mutters her last words: "No, never!" And she drops, therefore committing suicide. They removed that since it was kind of too dark for Disney, but they kept the shot of Zira smiling whilst falling down.

@Appleman-uz3ug Because her original death was a suicide. This was edited to make it look like she slipped. After Kiara says she'll help her, Zira slowly turned and smiled at Kiara and told her "No. Never." then she purposely lets go of the cliff and falls to her death.

I know 94 trillion people already said this, but the original ending would have resulted in Zira committing suicide. This would have made her stand out so much more, as it’s the only time we see this happen in the franchise. Having so much hatred that you’d rather be with the one you love, who was a believer of evil and terror, rather then starting over and getting to know the circle of life, that your willing to basically kill yourself is wild. From what I’ve seen, they were going to use the stampede scene as well. Every deleted scene from this film should have been in and it would have made the movie 90 times better.

Zira died just like mufasa and scar. But mufasa fell into an empty spot- or got ran over my the bulls in the stampede and scar died from falling to the ground and getting eaten by the hyenas. Zira died by drowning.

It is similar couple of differences, 1) Zira fell into the river and drowned where as mufasa fell into the stampede and was trampled to death 2) Kiara offered to help zira but she slipped and fell, while Scar threw Mufasa off the cliff instead of helping him.
