I went to see the movie yesterday in Japan! It was great as expected. I cried 3 times. There were some powerful and thrilling scene. The scene where Sinba eats insects and grow up with his best friends in a fertile area are also cute.

Brah. They totally ripped this from Swahili speakers. The original movie songs were in Swahili but now it's all Zulu. Zulu is awesome but Swahili the ultimate in terms of smooth romance. I think this new improved movie will never replace the one we all know and love I still think it's good I wish they would have used all the ppl that voices the cartoon one. At least they kept mufasas voice the actors voice touched us all growing up. For me it doesn't replace the one I grew up with where it was so original and made us all cry when mufasa died and happy when simba triumphed

I missed the extra energy James Earl Jones used in the first film when he said “IS THAT A CHALLENGE?!!!” Also, “SCAR.... BROTHERRR!!” Also didn’t care too much for the soft voice of young Simba. Singing was great but they should’ve found a more raspy voice like the original with Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Other than those few nitpicks, THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING!!!
