Fits perfectly in the internal battery compartment with no modification electrically or physically to the radio, and almost double the capacity. Thanks for watching and have a great day! 73.

4S LiFeP04 is better suited to the voltage for ham radio gear and LiFeP04 is very safe compared to LiPo. Yes you need an RC balance charger and need to know how to manage lithium batteries without a BMS.

what is the source for those side rails? of what i have seen out there, these look the best, as they look to be made from alm. not cheap printed plastic. or not sq bent alm punched perfed sheet. looking into better battery.building up from rc stuff is a good deal. cost? but available in most big city's.

OK for POTA or Sota, but really... it's just a toy. For my semi-QRP or QRO radio, a 20 watt Xeigu G90, I ordered an 11lb LiFEPo4 50 ah battery... will run that radio for days...and no separate ATU needed
