Nice build and thanks for showcasing such quality b-roll content. Btw Optimum Tech, my ears thank you for always keeping the intro music as subtle as your voice. I cannot stress enough on how many tech vids blast that intro music but then their voice is so quiet. Also, nice ketchup bottle to fill the loop.

I hardly ever comment on YT, but the harmony of your content needs praise. Music, script and visuals are speaking the same language. Very well done! I discovered this channel while looking for guides for my first ITX build and I have to say: this one is THE BEST i found after a week of exploring. Unfortunately the video is not an in-depth guide and I don’t feel confident enough to start the build without a proper help. Also my wallet barely allows me for on shot at it :D. I really hope you consider making a guide for this build, but regardless, keep it up!

My goodness but the detail, in-process build footage is truly remarkable in this and most all your videos! as a 37yr. IT veteran I have personally built thousands of systems including extreme highend professional media workstations, ultra-reliable gaming rigs - I even designed some very futuristic media workstations back in the 90's that are still advanced even by today's standards. Having said this, I still have yet to build a single mITX system. I realized while watching this presentation that all the things that gave me pause when considering an mITX build are groundless now and I really should consider doing a boutique mITX build like your primary workstation build shown here - I love the idea of small but also don't care for the complexity around likely having to pull everything out to do a simple upgrade that would take only a very few minutes with my current mATX build - still this could be fun - thanks so much for the inspiring builds, reviews and excellent quality footage - your videos may be among the very best quality and composition of that can be found on YT!

I had a similar problem with my build and ended up using non-rotary right angle connectors. But it's a bit of a gamble what angle they'll come out at since it depends on the threading. There is a little bit of tolerance in how much you can rotate the fittings though. And you have to make sure there is enough clearance for the compression fittings.

About the right angle fitting, this is my solution: 1. No rotary fittings, use extenders, shortest one. 2. Barbed fittings, smallest one that fits your tubing inner diameter. The barb may not look nice, so it really comes up with your 90 degree fittings, EK torque ones might work.

Almost exact same build. Well done on that build! When it comes to the fittings, the shortest fittings I've found are the Koolance NZL-LXG2. Very cool design by Koolance. It's even rotatable. Downside is that it's extremely hard to find. It's out of stock almost everywhere. The way I've got myself those fittings were TaoBao, everything went smoothly and shipping was cheap because of the size them.

I ended up in a situation where I needed a low profile right angle fitting in my Define S2 build with two 360 rads. What I did was use a 2F 90 degree (the ones that are female threads on both ends) and one of the 3mm male to male adapters, both Barrow fittings. That brings the total height of the 90 degree fitting down by a few mm compared to a rotary 90, but the trouble is it doesn't always line up how you want once screwed in. I had a couple of the 2F 90's and around 3 or 4 of the 3mm M2M fittings since they are really cheap and I just tried different combos until I got it to line up.

Beautiful build! I have 99% of the same liquid cooling components going into an NCase M1 V6 as soon as it arrives at my doorstep (I just received the initial tracking info today). 4xNoctua NF-A12x25s, an Alphacool ST30 240mm rad, the Alphacool Eisbaer LT Solo pump/block combo, soft tubing, Alphacool fittings, and the Alphacool GPX-N M04 block for my 1080 FTW. My GPU is a Ryzen 3600X with an all core OC of 4.3GHz saddled in a Gigabyte B450i Aorus Pro WiFi motherboard with 16GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX 3466 B-Die DDR4 and a WD Black 512GB SSD. They are currently living in a Fractal Define R6, which is a bit hilarious to behold. It was a bit of a pain to get many of the Alphacool parts as there doesn't seem to be a retailer that actually has them on US soil, but I think the temps were worth it.

The build looks amazing, and I see you did your best with listing and linking some of the parts you used in the description, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who would really appreciate a full parts list for the Alphacool setup. What size and brand tubing did you go with? What coolant did you choose? What quantity of each fitting did you end up having to use? You featured the quick disconnect in the video but did not list the part in the description. Cheers and keep up the excellent work!

A mod that may be worth looking into is reducing th gpu to a single slot then getting the fittings and tube to run on the inside behind the GPU. Not sure if the tolerance are there but if you could it would look so much more clean. Edit : rewatched the videos a couple of times and I think there might be some tight pressure agains the motherboard or the spine of the case but i think it should be workable. Hope you try it out. Would love to know as I would love to save up for this case and do a similar soft tube amd system one day

Lovely build man, I know all too well how difficult small custom loops are, and it doesn't get any smaller than this! As a side note, I do not like those QDCs at all. Back in the day the black coating corroded and ended up in a lot of people's loops, it was bad. I do not know if the issue is still present, but I avoid them. Thermal take make a very, very high quality QDC, they take *serious* force to disconnect, but they're very good. Expensive though. As for the pins on the mobo, I feel you dude. Problem is they can work harden too. It's definitely fixable, a heatgun on the socket will help temper them read to be bent back 👍

Jesus....the graphics card alone is around $1,300. Thing must be a beast. That is a killer build.

A couple questions: Did you find any use for quick disconnect fittings or were they redundant given your method of filling the loop through the radiator? I'm assuming you would use the same method to drain the loop as well. Also, did you happen to find an answer to the problem with the right angle fittings on the GPU block? I ask because I'm going to be starting a similar water-cooled build in a Ghost S1 and appreciate any answers you can provide me with. Thanks for the inspiration and fantastic video.

Amazing, what a dream build! Is there any way you could share what kind of maintenance something like this would require? Like how often should someone change out the water in a build like this?

A build with personality, looks great :). Can you do a Review of the InWin A1 Plus? That will be my future build.

If you use barb fittings on the GPU they have a lower profile.
