Thanks for opening up and telling your story. There's a lot of people who back you 1000% so never feel you're alone and the people who knock you and mock you have a narrow, bitter and twisted outlook on everything they don't control. Stay strong, stay safe and thanks for everything.

You are a bloody legend mate, it's good to see we still have good men in this country that stand strong. My grandfather fought in New Guinea in WWII, raised 6 kids, cleared his farm by hand and made this country so great. He would be rolling in his grave with the shit fight of a job the politicians are doing with our country right now. We should never take for granted what our forefathers have left us.

None of us living today had or have any control over what happened in the history before us black white brindle or other. There for we bare no responsibility on any of history. However we can learn from this and move forward as one undivided. Clark your words of wisdom should be shared a plenty Australia wide and further.

Thanks Clark well said. My old neighbour was once an NT aboriginal patrol office after WW2. He started his patrol career as a cadet with Bill Harney of Ayers Rock fame. I was privileged to hear firsthand his many accounts of the time. Clark, your story mirrors accounts told to me of cultural infanticide even more gruesome. The greatest example of Australian mateship was with this patrol officer and his trackers. Recommend reading is a book titled "Wisphering Wind" the author was my old friend and neighbour. RIP Syd.

Absolutely correct…..total respect for you Clark. Roly’s story surely was difficult to share yet demonstrates the “extreme” reality of the differences of custom and law. Another thing that I am concerned about is the many different “tribes” and how they do not share the same tribal law and custom. How are these going to be unified by “nominated” representatives by the current government. What really annoys me is that there are currently 11 elected federal members who are indigenous yet their voices somehow are not in unison and are disregarded. Thanks for sharing your videos Clark.

I was dating a girl that had a top position in healthcare working in Maningrida. Some of the stories she's told me make the skin crawl abd gut boil with anger. Even the simple things like blowing 10k on flying in a corrupt "native healer" flown in that doesn't take the mobile phone from his ear as he walks around waving smoke and straight back to his private flight back out instead of getting a dialysis machine into the community. The people preferring that to actual life saving equipment. The "healer" coming from a city and knowing very well that modern medicine is the answer but prefers to rip off his own people. Just one of many stories. This voice will be exactly the same thing. Just Ripping off the money that is supposed to go to helping these communities.

Clark I know I criticise you, not on this issue, but on some others , thats OK, but your words I just heard are some of the most beautiful I heard for a long time!! Yes brother we are all earthlings, we all bleed the same colour blood, it’s about time we recognised, that we are all earthlings, we have no other home and we all need to learn how to live in harmony!! Because if anything happens to this place we call earth, we are all domed the same. So closer to home we inhabit this beautiful country and we all should remember that the person next to you even though sometimes we have different opinions we all need to live as Australians.

Clark, firstly I wish to express my sincere condolences on the loss of your brother Roly. A few years ago, I would have thought that not possible. Thank you for you videos Clark, they are the reality of life on the land. Your history of dreadful childhood event is also a reality which was bloody awful for all involved, but an eye opening account of how it was. I must point out though, that the Voice is not about having different laws, it is about having consultation represented by people on the ground rather than decisions made by those who are distant and feel they know better. "no law could be invalidated based on this consultation."

Clark, I too had a childhood with 9, yes nine, fostered brothers and sisters who are aboriginal. we are one nation and should be treated as one. It is sad that some customs are so strong that murder is considered ok. It is NOT ok to murder a child for custom's sake. All the fostered children were from the "Retta Dickson Home" in Darwin (not sure of the spelling ) you my know of it, and my parents fostered then so as that they could keep their names to identify, if they wanted to, back to their original (birth) parents. I still keep in touch with a few of them today, and they still ring on occasion to my mum to wish her well. I love your channel and what you are standing for. Cheers mate, from down south (NSW)

Australia pre white fella had no cow, horse, pig, donkey, camel, goat, sheep... no beast of burden to plough a field, no vegetables or grains worth planting anyhow, no bronze, steel or iron tech, no animal to provide milk substitutes to feed growing kids, so being a mum meant long term breast feeding and carrying everything with you as you shifted to follow the food and water. These people were the toughest survivors this planet has seen and had to do what they had to do.

One additional comment to your opening remarks where you state much of the monies allocated the Aboriginal communities has been siphon off by many people who are entrusted to operate these schemes. What you failed to mention is that a great many of these people who siphon off the funds are full blooded and or half caste Aboriginals who take the monies and it goes no further than their immediate families. Ask any person who has lived in outback towns or enquire about the disbursement of royalties of the NT Ranger mines. Otherwise I agree and applaud your public stance on this issue. Yes I will be voting no mainly because I don't want to see what was the norm in South Africa in years gone bye.

That's such a compelling and savage story about Rolly, one of the reasons children were removed from aboriginal families? I remember on a visit to the Kimberly on an aboriginal tour and the elder told the story of how young girls were broken in for marriage by old men first before being married off to younger men. The Mormons on the tour abused him and demanded to be taken back to our tour bus. Funny hey, given Mormons practiced polygamy and married their girls off young aswell. Funny how a different skin color affects people's sense of entitlement hey.

Full credit to you Clark . You summed it up exactly as it was but you are one of the few game enough to publicly state it . Division only weakens us as a country we are all Australians irrespective of colour .this trotting out the racism stuff only weakens us as a country and society. Perhaps we should get things in perspective . You mention ww2 . The other countries who were our allies . The fuzzy wuzzy angels etc . Once again you summed it up well but today perhaps many australians have lost perspective of the world in our immediate area . According to google 5,000 full blood aboriginals in australia. Our population almost 27 million. PNG our nearest neighbour 10 million plus Indonesia 273million plus let alone chinas population. In a serious conflict without our allies there’s every chance indigenous Australians plus the rest of Australian people could be overwhelmed and cease to exist as a people .we should be strengthening our country not tearing it apart on racist lines
