L. OBrien if it wasn't and still similar it's still inspirational, because I've loved the song and heard it a lot and then I really didn't see the video from it until recently, and then when I did that has just broke my ❤ even, more I think more then just hearing it on the radio, and I would never want a kid to have to go through that, it's so sad and even having to be there when he done that omg that was so sad, and so glad he didn't hurt the kid, but there's some out there that does kill the poor kid's too and it's sad when u hear all around the world, but I was a survivor, and seen a lot, when I was a kid and I never want anyone have too go through that and especially not the innocent of kid's, yes I came through and God just made me stronger, and it's hard to relax or anything experience something that cruel, but sorry didn't mean to rambling on, God Bless u

God has been with her through cancer, a kidney transplant, diabetes, and multiple sclerosis. I found out today she has Alzheimer's. Now 10 years later I'm cancer free ! As I was in ICU hooked up to IVs the pain was the worst I have ever felt but then I looked up and there stood my Dad and brother who had passed the year before . My Dad was a preacher and he sat at the foot of the bed and my brother stood at the head . They said God's not ready for you yet . You still have something to do . My brother and Dad passed six months apart . My Dr still says I'm a walking miracle . Praise God 🙏 .

You're so strong in your faith, I think you would really like the song Saved, Delivered, and Healed by Carmen. A great man of God, may he rest in peace with our Lord! This song means so much to me. I was in a severe car accident. I was accidentally tossed out of the back of a truck. I landed on a concrete bridge. I had two broken hips, a broken leg, severe road rash and bruising to my face, head and body. The Lord saved me, delivered me, and healed me! Praise God! Today, I can walk, and take care of my disabled son.

I didn’t like nor listen to much country growing up but sometimes it’s all about timing. I found country when the time was right for me. I’m 47 now and got into country in 1993 when I was 21. I was driving and was just in the frame of mind to get lost in a song and the right one came on (All These Years by Sawyer Brown) and it stayed in my ears, my mind, and in my heart for days afterward until I had to buy the CD. That’s how it started for me. I love how country songs paint vivid pictures and that each one is its own story. I’d love it if you’d review/react to Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carroll, All These Years by Sawyer Brown, Not That Different by Collin Raye, Till I Was A Daddy Too by Tracy Lawrence, Remember When by Alan Jackson, You’re Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins, Just A Dream by Carrie Underwood, Don’t Take The Girl by Tim McGraw, Matches by Sammy Kershaw, I’m Not Strong Enough To Say No by Blackhawk, and I Still Believe In You by Vince Gill!!! That, my friend, would give you a nice look at how great country music was, especially in the 90s (the best decade for this genre). Country tells it like it is and if there’s any emotion that you’re dealing with, this genre will bottle those feelings up and make music that will hopefully help you. I still listen to Metallica, Phil Collins, The Platters, The Commodores, Skid Row, Josh Groban, Luis Miguel, Lara Fabian, etc., but I find as I get older that my comfort zone rests in country with its relatable stories.
@ranxstreet

@@ranxstreet Thanks Ran. I always thought it was hokey, corny crap music growing up but it took one song for me, like I said in my posting, to make me rethink my thoughts on Country Music. I still thought it was crap but I liked that one song. Then I bought the cd and liked the whole thing. So, I tried listening to Country Music on the radio and I’d be fine until a lame song came on and I’d switch stations to another genre. What helped is that Country Music in the 90s was so f’n much better than the Country Music today, seriously. And when they’d play a hokey song occasionally back then it was interspersed with numerous songs that made you feel something, think about something, often both. I loved the stories and some of the best singers back then were in Country. JMM does sound twangy but it’s legit because of where he was raised and his music crossed over a lot. All-4-One covered his songs I Swear and I Can Love You Like That. Both were JMM songs first that caught on to pop and R&B audiences because of All-4-One’s covers. If you aren’t turned off of JMM’s music then please also check out No Man’s Land (song about a single mother) and Friends (a deep song about being friend-zoned). Thanks!
