I'm actually thinking the Pale King is the real villain of the whole story, the Radiance was minding her business with her moth tribe, and dude just strolls in and demands everybody worship him. That's like the devil offering you all the kingdoms of the world if you'll worship him but you'll lose your soul in the process. Then Pale king teams up with literal darkness, (even though he's light?) to go against Radiance? Who he wronged in the first place? Then destroys his whole kingdom in the process by abandoning them when the war he started starts to not go his way? Killing all his kids?! Yea, Radiance should have won. That's my opinion. It's all the Pale Kings fault.

The sheer number of bugs murdered without a second thought is a big point imo. The true ending saved the lives of many bugs, but not the thousands of bugs in the wake of corpses the knight left behind.

The godseeker's realm gets completely wrecked by the godkiller the knight turns into. Life ruined. Also the dream warriors and bosses. They were dead/defeated already but we continue to persue them even in their dreams. Life ruined

Maybe Pale Lurker? Ik its not necessarily an npc and not everyone is gonna encounter him, but little dude was just chilling at the edge of the world, minding his business, and we go in there, chase him around, and terrorize him. And the Last Stag, too! While he sounds a bit grateful to see the stagways reopened, we have made him run us around all of the kingdom, treated him like a servant at our beck and call, see his kin dead and eggs broken, open him up to even more loneliness because of him getting to see the vastness of the kingdom once again and being the only one to be running those lines, and hes an old stag, he shouldn't have to deal with any of this! And last ones i can think of are Marissa(the dream ghost singer, because many dreamnail her even though she's doing what she loves now eternally), the entire dream graveyard and its poor keeper thats constantly just trying to fufill their duty, the actual gravedigger dream ghost that is in dirtmouth that doesn't necessarily think you should be killing, but gives him a job that people also tend to dream nail, the birds that wont attack you but you kill anyway for the hunter's journal or dream essence farming, and there's probably more honestly but that's just nitpicking lol. I tried not to name any that other commenters have mentioned.

Funny gpz detail. Some bosses in Godhome realize that they are not where they are normally and have different dream nail dialogue. For example, Hornet is confused and Grimm is just "wow what a cool place". But Zote... Doesn't change his dream nail dialogue! He still thinks you want to steal Bretta from him!(well,Bretta thinks that gpz thinks like that and the existence of dream bosses in Godhome is already weird). Even when is not there! I find it hilarious.

To be fair, when you go to the fluke hermit without the charm, it will tell you about it’s mother’s treasure and to get it. Sounds to me like it’s literally asking for it, since you can’t get the charm without popping her first. Plus; Salubra asking to see the charm in exchange for just her blessing sounds much more cruel to me.

imo most of the npcs that succumbed to infection were screwed either way the knight may have sped it up by effecting the seal but the infection was spreading with or witout his help as even getting the double jump ability checkes the box to infected crossroads even with all three dreemers intact

Can we address the fact that the infection would have spread just as bad without The Knight's actions? The Hollow Knight wasn't actually hollow, and the infection was slowly leaking out. Eventually it would've been just as bad, and everyone would've succumbed to the infection sooner or later. There's also a debate on what's worse: wandering around knowing youre supposed to do something but not knowing what it is VS fulfilling your destiny and finally being able to rest

Cloth quest is positive, though. She is happy that she found the courage to fight. She is happy that her life was meaningful. Zote life doesn't get worse. He either dies or his life is as bad as usual. He is delusional about being the strongest and everyone mocks him. Everyone except Bretta. But he doesn't care about Bretta, he only wants to brag. He will find another person to brag to. Bretta is the one that either gets infected or she is just heartbroken. She will be fine. Maggots are totally innocent. Moss Prophet would get infected more sooner or later. Like everyone if Knight didn't do anything. Myla is infected passively as far as I know. Not because of any of the Knight's action. It's because infection is already spreading and without Knight, it would get far worse. Dreamers are the victims, except Monomon. I think she was the one who actually WANTED to get killed. She was the one who said "they must be undone" iirc. Although they were already sacrificed by Pale King. To be forever sleeping. Their purpose was to stop Radiance. But they failed. So Knight corrected it. Quirrel is like Cloth. He decides that he fulfilled his purpose and is okay with dying. I think Menderbug wouldn't like having to constantly repair stuff THAT often. And when you kill him, it's totally a victim of a Knight. But you know whose life is Ruined by Knight the most. And I'm not joking. Radiance. Why everyone wants to get rid of her so much? Sure, she did what she did but she did this BECAUSE everybody turned around. If they actually showed that they care about her, infection wouldn't exist. All the bugs who have forgotten her and especially Pale King that usurped her place, are to blame actuallu. But Knight didn't care either. He just either imprisoned her or murdered her.

I would say, watch your own video after you publish it and think, is this exactly what you would have wanted to answer your question? So your video on how to find cornifer and the false knight. Watch it from the perspective of a new player. Do you think it is too fast, or too slow. Are you giving enough context or too much. You can go so far as to take notes about what you would change on your own video. Then keep that in mind for the next video.

Funny thing is that if you decide not to kill the Nailsmith and just leave him there, he will find a new purpose in life. You can then find him living a fulfilling life in Sheo’s hut. That also triggers an achievement.
