Excellent story Tom, as always, beautifully narrated!. And it was published in 1960, the year my brother in heaven was born. He survived 2 days. He was named Gregory Thomas. The 2nd name after material G/ father. My son Tom is named after this brother & G/ father, former husband's G/father, Charles. The former husband adamantly wanted to name our 1st son Charles. But was against it, mainly nicknames(s) , English royal family. Sorry 4 all this, have been thinking/ talking about him recently. Have a good day/week if ur a day behind like my sur viving brother , lives in Danmark with Danish wife, 2 half Danish kids? Cheers

I was born in 1960. I had a sister Elizabeth who survived two days. I was born one year after her. They were hoping for a girl again but got me and then four more boys after me.

Thank you for your kind words :) It is always heartbreaking to hear about children that go too early. I find naming and the reason for name choices fascinating :) Have a good one yourself. I does seem I am lagging behind, as Denmark is not too far away from here.
