This has been my favorite movie my whole life. I was dying during this entire video. Pats voice gave me CHILLS. Jodi’s voice is still as majestic and beautiful as it was 30 years ago. Buddy hacket as Scuttle was ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGGG!!!! I love this soooooo much.

Little Mermaid remains my favorite Disney animated film regardless of painted cells and no CGI. This movie and the music is timeless.

Even though Ariel didn't end up being blonde, I can definitely still see Christie Brinkley as an inspiration for Ariel's look. She had/has this very beachy California Girl kind of beauty and a joyous energy that I can very much see influencing Ariel. Christie Brinkley, also, wore some very Ariel-type hairstyles in the 80s too. ;)

@@MYKroe Yes, Alyssa Milano was an inspiration, as well! I remember it being mentioned when she hosted The Making of The Little Mermaid tv special back when the movie first came out. I, also, believe that Glen Keane put some of his wife into Ariel's design too. Clearly, there were a lot of different inspirations that came together to create who Ariel eventually became.

Rick M I did use my phone. I used to use a Canon, but my iPhone XS has up to 4K although when there is soo much going on within a day, it would be insane to have that much storage and then to upload it. I tried my best is all. I covered quite a bit at the expo. There are others who went to fewer panels but got better footage or perhaps were invited media and had better viewing locations.

Live action Disney films are NOT trying to top anything. I wish people like you would stop with this nonsense. Their goal is to give us a whole new experience with stories that are already near and dear to our hearts. Why can Disney produce sequels to original stories but they can't use technology to recreate those stories? I will never understand the hatred and quite frankly, the small-mindedness of it all scares me.

@@walterbonsell Because sequels are a continuation of the first movies, which don't have any real affect on the stories. Remakes are do overs. People don't like do overs of things that already exist especially when the original is still relevant. Disney's goal is not to give us a whole new experience with stories that are already near and dear to our hearts. Their goal is to make as much money as possible, as fast as possible, with half as much effort put into it. The hatred for live action films mainly comes from the fact that everyone keeps saying that they like the newer "edgier, cooler" version for the sole reason that it's live action. People have less respect or appreciation for how much time, talent and work, it takes the animators to make the original films. And since people are going to see these live-action films, Disney will continue to make this trash, leaving those of us who want to see new animated original films hold our breath.
