I found myself completely astounded when he said it was only 2 pound & when I sugguest this on a boxing forum obviously they agreed with me how ridiculous this claim seemed Although from what I have seen you need to have a fast enough (not necessarily powerful) punch to snap someones head back (not literally obviously). Best places I've heard are the temple or right below the ear (there's more nerve bundlings so more likely to send the brain in to temporary short circuiting of the nerves).

It sucks because, Hamed lost to one of the greatest of all time. No shame in that. An contrary to what people believe, Marco didn't run over Hamed. He rendered him ineffective, but that isn't the same as beating him down. At not point was Hamed anywhere near giving up or getting KO'ed. Discouraged maybe, but so was Barrera when he fought Pacquiao. Anybody would be discouraged. Sucks, because he was fun to watch. And talented.

Naz was never as arrogant as Ali. NEVER. NOT EVEN CLOSE. People just like to hate. I love Naz, yes Barrera brought him to school, but that's Barrera, HOF'er. Naz is fun to watch and playing up for the cameras, thats it.

Been boxing for about 9 months now I was looking in to the minimum force required for a knock out. I heard somewhere else it was 14 pounds of pressure applied to just below the temple. I post this on a boxing forum to see if anyone could back this up. 1) punches aren't measured in pounds of pressure and 2) a bag of sugar weighs about 2 pounds so is he saying that if someone drops 2 bags of sugar on my chin I'll go down? I don't think so! Can anyone find scientific explaination of this claim?
