Channels as part of a programming block called The Incredible World of DiC (named after what DiC called itself in the company's final years)

It's a shame what happened to them at the end of the day: Poor choices (no thanks to Andy Heyward), over saturation of shows, lack of original I.P.s (and even when they did create original material, it was almost never good. The one major exception that case being Inspector Gadget), and not to mention animation errors galore in their later shows. The Jean Chalopin Era (1971-87) will always be The Golden Years of DiC

Joe, the OG My Little Pony nobody gives a shit about, etc have been on DVD for years and are currently available via streaming if that's something you do (unless you're one of them dinosaurs who sees streaming as evil)

Granted, in the case of The Littles, it was outsourced Japanese Animation but Japanese Animation nonetheless. That was however the nice thing about DiC'es early cartoons. A lot of them had the Euro Japanese Anime look to them including Ulysses 31, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors, M.A.S.K., and the first couple seasons of The Real Ghostbusters

As many 80's kids know, Saturday morning was a marathon of cartoons. 5 year old me... hated this show. It aired towards the tail end of the shows on my local tv network. It was a reminder that it was almost noon and my cartoon binge was over. Now on retrospect this show looks like it had above average animation quality, though I still can't vouch for the story.

Yeah, Netflix ain't doing no deals with Wildbrain (The people who own the rights to this show and most of the DiC library) to bring The Littles on there no time soon. If you miss it that much, there's options. Examples: The show is out on DVD (if you still use those in 2022). There are even a handful of episodes here on KZbin

Watching it now as an adult I can see almost every element of the intro is in 3D, characters included. They have their robot-like moves, but those moves are subtle, not exaggerated so I've never noticed it before (maybe because I didn't even knew as a kid this technique even existed). It was all just hand-painted frame by frame afterwards. Outro on the other hand is almost all traditional 2D.
