McHale's Navy Seasons 1-3 Intros and Credits

I love McHale's Navy. In fact it might be my guilty pleasure. :3
Here's my compilation of the Seasons 1-3 opening themes, as well as the credits for each season. I would include Season 4, but I can't find any of the Season 4 episodes where they don't omit the intro. I wasn't as crazy about Season 4 anyway. I mean, I still liked it, but I prefer the episodes set on Taratupa over Season 4 when they transferred to the Italian Theater. Which intro is your favorite? I'm gonna go with the Season 2 intro and credits. For some reason, that theme is the most nostalgic to me.
Theme music and credits come from each episode:
-Beauty and the Beast (Season 1; opening theme)
-An Ensign for McHale (Season 1; credits)
-The Novocain Mutany (Season 2; opening theme)
-The Binghamton Murder Plot (Season 2; credits)
-The Ghosts of 73 (Season 3; both opening theme and credits)
The quip you heard at the very beginning is from the "Beauty and the Beast" episode.

I like how in the first two seasons, the main theme ends with a quote from the sea shanty "Blow the Man Down."

Great show back in the day---I watched it in reruns on UHF. Love that opening shot of the boat at high speed, something you don't normally see. Read somewhere that Ernest Borgnine made two suggestions to the producers which they never agreed to; 1) that the show be done in color,and 2) that it be changed from being just a comedy to more of an adventure/comedy mix, similar to Hogan's Heroes, where the crew would be sent on serious missions,etc. Too bad they didn't listen!

Whenever I see the flags rolling up I keep thinking of those old comedy jokes where someone uses a pair of either long Johns or undergarments as a flag and it would be the final flag that shows up.

For the life of me I just don't remember McHale's Navy in prime time. Syndicated reruns fm 1967 - 1972 in San Francisco YES but that's it. Great comedy from the '60's.

Modern audiences probably know Ernest and Tim as the voices of MermaidMan and BarnacleBoy on SpongeBob SquarePants. I ponder if Joe Flynn would've voiced a character on SpongeBob if he was still alive by '99.

Navy reserve personnel it a regathering by the pub tiki scene. Example where shooting craps for burnt + tied contracts by The quarry. They advocate that section renegotiated by example Burmese ruby quarries incline. Maureen did followup and find it on her fingertips to renegotiate at kid gloves
