This show broke my heart when I've seen London. A great dog, and ALL ALONE nobody wanted to keep him???

Wonderful memories when I was 8 years old in 1963, watching the original Littliest Hobo. My love for German Shepherd started then.

Always loved this show growing up, Classic Canadian programming. It's so nostalgic to see the streets & skyline of Vancouver back in the day. We've lost a lot of character in this city, now just big glass high rises like every other major city.

I was 7 years of age watching this show...I cried every episode with him walking off into the distance. The great Harry Townes...I loved that actor!

I was 11 years old in 1963 and watched 'Hobo' faithfully. I love Harry Townes, such a great character actor . What a treat it is to see him in this Canadian classic program. I remember the show well but of course not many of the actors other than London.

I remember this show from when it was on the CTV Network. I remembered the closing theme word for word. Anyone know who sang it? I always thought the voice was perfect for the song and the show.

Jerry Scoggins, who also sang the Jed Clampett song on the Beverly Hillbillies. I knew I recognized that voice.

@@micmac99 Thanks for that info. I thought perhaps it was George Beverly Shea at first but discovered that wasn't right. I knew I recognized the voice though, and yes, you're correct!! I just loved this show, I watched it as a kid and to this day can sing the theme song and the second series theme as well....One of the best Canadian shows ever
