I’ve seen lots of folks use those Roen quads, but this is the first time I’ve really appreciated the magic. Just beautiful, glistening, sparkly, special, etc etc. Like Kackie, I feel like my facial features require structure and definition rather than more blown out, buffed out looks, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about those Roen textures on *my* face. But goodness gracious do they look beautiful on you 😍

I'm glad I was able to capture it enough for you to see it. You should see it when light hits it indirectly in an evening setting it's SO spectacular. I still think in person is the only way to appreciate their beauty fully. They're so unassuming in the pan and swatches but like something HAPPENS on the eyes. Wow, that Auric Glow Lust with the Surratt is blurry PERFECTION. My oh my. I'm tempted, Tom! I feel so deceived by Rosy Beige and Mimi. 😂 Adore Mimi on you, but the hunt for a dead grey pink continues. Loving the suggestions from other people on this video! The Sonia G brush looks really lovely. I have her Niji Pro so didn't pick this one up, but it looks like a fantastic brush. You've now convinced me to invest in a black lipstick! I was a HUGE Roen fan when it launched. I loved the grungy vibe and liked that it wasn’t creaseless. It worked well for me. However, once Nikki deRoest was out, the brand lost its identity. I bought up through 11:11, then stopped buying from the brand. The original “everything brush” is still my favorite eye brush. I have three!

For a dead pink blush, my current favorite is the cream blush from Kjaer Weisz 'Inner Glow' - the swatches on the website do NOT do it justice, it has the opposite problem of the Westman Atelier blush where it looks warm on their website. It is a rosy taupe with iridescent sheen, it's a hard color to pin down as just one thing because it's both warm and cool, but it's super pale friendly!

Could not agree more about “Inner Glow” - It’s my go to for this sort of effect and honestly one of my standbys when I just want to feel beautiful. Phytosurgence’s “Condensate” may also fulfill some of this desire! I’m very fair with cool-to-neutral beige undertones and would happily send you some swatches on IG comparing “Mimi” to these two.

The way you described the Roen quad made me swear it off, but when I saw it applied I'm in love. 🤣 help I have slightly hooded lids so I embraced the grunge glam but I do have my limits if the shadow becomes nothing but streaks at the end of the day

Ok i think hannah made the old gum dead pink blush from salt new york blush colors, and i think thats the only way at least right now to get that blush color... The easiest way could be to buy rose or cocoa depending on what you want and the white (which will lighten) or blue (which will make it more cool toned, but can darken the shade) lip cheek pro tints and mixing them up, thats what i did for a friend of mine who has albinism... Coz the thing is anyone who isnt really really light toned skin wise, wouldn't use that blush color... For anything at all, so companies dont make those colors, even if they should coz possibly every person who has a very light toned skin is looking for it, so yeah as ususal a representation problem!

Also, I know you're bougie but the weirdest cool to neutral toned pink grey nude brown almost every so slight hint of lilac blush I've never been able to dupe with anything at all, even higher end, is the Max Factor Creme Puff blush in Nude Mauve. People have called it a contour blush on me when I use it on my cheekbones without bronzer etc. and with the same skin tone as you it is so flattering and different. The cons are that I'm not sure you can get Max Factor in the US - I think you get Cover Girl instead, and despite being a stunningly blendable almost Hour Glass dupe, it doesn't last the longest on the skin as it is somewhat powdery and soft. I am always looking for a high end dupe, but can't find one, although these days I'd probably know to apply it to a tacky base and maybe use a setting spray of some variety as apart from longevity it is perfection.

So I'm really bad with knowing and seeing subtleties in color. Would the Carmel color superblush by Persona work for what you are looking for? It may be too warm toned. It's hard to say bc cool toned things tend to still look warm on my skin.

You seem to be looking for a HLP "old gum" color. Desire Inner Glow Creme from RdF is PRETTY close. (Mix it with some Intuition and you're there!)

The formula is a bit unusual to me, soft to the touch somewhat clay-like at the same time, i was cautious that it will be difficult to apply and blend but quite the opposite even when using a heavy hand in the morning rush. I don’t mind this packaging either, i’m not using a palette or anything just this small single thing, had it for a year and a half and still not broken flying around in my bag or drawer love it.

RE: Gucci. I caved and got the apricot after months of a makeup no buy and I freaking love it. It is the perfect color for my skin tone. I am medium warm with olive undertones and for whatever reason it looks magical on me. Really didn't expect to like it that much.
