I'm not gonna describe the moments because, I'm lazy, but I will provide clear examples where there is no way they weren't creative choices 0:11 Every background like this that is used in the video after this 0:17 The timed switch between the finished frame and the one with no background 0:48 Decision to isolate lead singer 0:54 The photoshop transform/select box here 0:57 Every single glitch effect in this video like this one 1:17 The free trial is so relatable for me lmao, also something that has to be deliberately added 1:21 The fact they did reference footage and images shows they aren't lazy, and that they care about quality 1:38 While the collab could be an argument for it being lazy, but they fact that they found a KZbin gem that is known for his charming simplistic content and comedy lends itself to this theme. 2:40 In addition to the intentional media offline screen, contrary to popular belief those paper puppets are actually pretty time consuming to make, and requires a fair amount of effort to make both a working puppet, as well as color them in and have them dance and shit. 2:57 Now I'm not sure if there is a plugin that does this or something, but the middle finger error messages are super funny and potentially demonstrates further effort and care they put into this video. I have never seen an animation look so sloppy, rushed, terribly made and yet so detailed and beautiful. It's exactly what should be done for music. THIS! It's so important that the animation is made so. I would type an essay about it because it's so good. You did it very well and accomplished what you set out to do for the video.
