I don’t know what book it’s from but it takes place in the Warhammer Fantasy universe. It’s the origins of the Skaven I think.

This is the origin of the Skaven race from Warhammer Fantasy. It's in most if not all the skaven codex's, so unfortunately its not directly connected to any book. If you want to read skaven I'd reccomend the novel "Headtaker" by David Guymer or the "Skaven Wars. The Black Plague" books by C L Werner for a more serious novels and the "Thanquol and Boneripper" series by C L Werner for a more comedic read.

I think the Stranger is Tzeentch. He can see what Nagash will become and he needs a race to stop Nagash's schemes. So he created the Skaven.

I like this idea, but I personally prefer to think it is either: A. Great Horned Rat when he was a mortal, created by a warpstone mutation, either regular rat who mutated to be a human, or a random tilean man who git mutated with a rat like a beastman. B. An actual human magician but Erebus level asshole who experimented on warpstone and purposely created skaven race in order to become a god and with time became great horned rat.

Could you try picking up the Wulfrik novel and read an excerpt from Chapter 17, where the Norscans begin to siege Wisborg? It has this part in it, which is pretty epic: ‘Khorne!’ they roared, invoking the sacred battle-name of Kharnath the Blood God, Lord of Battles. ‘Khorne!’ they howled until it seemed the walls must fall from the violence in their voices alone. ‘Khorne!’ they shrieked as they gnashed their teeth and bit their shields.

Sweet! Is there any way to get the Dwarves version of it? It would be an interesting contrast to see what happened in that mountain hold and the end is when the Dwarves and Humans battle back to back in a last stand. Dunno what the dwarves call the story though
