I've never suffered with mental health at all in my life, but there have been stages over the different lockdowns where I could feel my head just start to go. Then my relationship ended and she went back to her mums so that didn't help, but it's stuff like this that helps you know. PS; her mum's an arsehole.

My wife has suffered very badly with anxiety. She was off work for months. Thankfully she is coming out the other side of it now. While I haven't had any mental health issues myself, seeing it first hand I can relate with how bad it can get, with seemly no way out at times. I applaud Chris for talking about his story because the 'man up' mentality of so many men is not helping the male suicide rates. The more male public figures talking about their experiences the better.

The MASS-DEBATE needs to stay! Well done Chris. Brave to share your story and well done for easing off the Medication. I've been there, people don't understand the song "Comfortably numb" until they've been on antidepressants. I've been off mine for s few years now. It's a strange thing to come off them. You will feel weird and emotions will come out of nowhere, remember it's normal to feel things and however you react to something (including bursting I to tears for no reason... Been there) is normal. Make sure to do it slowly and remember if you need to increase the dose again, IT HAS NOT BEATEN YOU! Take your time. Stay safe dude!

Hi Chris top man for sharing your story. I also suffer with Mental Health over the last 5 years, last year in particular was the worst for me as my Versys 1000 17 plate was written off due to a lorry reversing into me. and since May last year I haven't had a bike and that's seriously damaged my Mental Health as the freedom of the bike just makes me feel better and such a release . Great news, I have just ordered a 2018 GS Adventure in triple black from watching your video a while back and should be with me at the end of this week, happy days. So thanks to you and Al for keeping us all entertained with amazing content. all the best Jason. NorthWalesRider

Hello 44 teeth enjoy the content and the channel in general. Don’t generally add comments but Chris touch on mental health and in particular he coping mechanism being polishing and cleaning. Most stressful things in life being births death and moving house - things out of your control. Polishing your bike and seeing something through from start to finish - things you can control. Keep strong Chris and continue to do things you enjoy which are in your control and continue to build your mental strength. I've had a burnout for the past 2 years and I definitely recognise that flatline feeling that nothing excites you at all even if its about bikes or cars or whatever.
