• KONDISI TERKINI❗JALUR ...
The asphalt road that the locomotive is passing on is an ACTIVE lorry train crossing
Under the asphalt road there is a railroad track which is always passed by lorries every milling season (sugar cane harvest season)
During the non-milling season for several months, without the knowledge of the PG (Sugar Factory), the crossing had been covered with asphalt.
So this crossing must be reopened, which is an ACTIVE lorry crossing which is always used every rolling season.
Many people ask, why does the locomotive immediately return to PG after passing the asphalt?
*because the rails after the crossing (towards the bridge & beyond are clear of dirt & grass) so the locomotive doesn't need to run over them

Jadi inget masa kecil saya melihat kereta lori di pabrik gula kali bagor banyumas jawa tengah mas . Seneng dan kagum aja melihatnya karena bentuknya yg kecil dan imut itu. 🌝 👍👍👍

Saya harus bilang INI KEREN mengingatkan saya beberapa tahun yang lalu tentang Pabrik Rejoagung Madiun, dimana ketika saya naik bus dari Caruban ke sepanjang Kota Madiun srlalu memperhatikan rel kereta tebu yang sudah sangat kuno, berjalan panjang mengangkut tebu2. Tapi semua sudah tidak ada, semua tinggal kenangan, semua diangkut dengan truk. Bahkan lokomotif kuno di depan Pabrik Rejoagung pun sudah dipindah entah kemana, saya sangat menyukai kereta api dan merasa flashback ke masa lalu ketika melihat kereta2 kuno berjalan.

I wonder if you've thought of adding some "dirt-catcher" plates to the front to help cut through the dirt/grass. A bit like a cow-catcher, but for the undergrowth! Love it that you are keeping this railway going. In times of high fuel prices it must be invaluable...

@@bayexgrobak9462 menurut saya semua emang sudah zamanya, zaman dulu semua fasilitas yang nanggung pemerintah rakyat tinggal mengoprasikan contohnya tu lori, kan dulu jarang2 juga orang punya truk bahkan keknya nggk pemikiran kalau truk buat angkut tebu, kalau sekarang pake lori keknya bakal ngeganggu jalanya orang, sekarang alat transportasi udah banyak apalagi sepeda motor ama mobil udah banyak banget, malah lori nya suruh ngalah tuh ama emak emak pake motor wkwk, cmiiw

Good to see the railway reclaiming its territory ! I made level crossings like this o n my Hornby train set. Built a road with filler over the track, then just ran a metal wheeled wagon over it

The important point here is that the road contractor had closed the tracks without confirmation, because the asphalt was still new (wet), the locomotive opened the crossing. by the way, this video has subtitle available, did you know that?? Great video! I am in Queensland, Australia. There is about 4000km of 610mm sugar cane railways here. Moves about 32 000 000 tonnes of sugar cane each year. The sugar cane trains can travel at 40km/h, and up to 100km from the cane fields to the crushing mill. A sugar cane rail line used to travel in the middle of a street in the town of Nambour. The line is being converted to public transport tram, for passengers. The crushing mill is gone, replaced by a shopping mall.

It's good to see that the line is being repurposed and not just closed and ripped up. Over the ditch here in NZ we have lost many provincial rail lines due to closure and the tracks being ripped up. It is unlikely they will ever be reinstated. At least if the lines are left there then they can be used again.

Didn't know that. Parts of Denmark also used to have an extensive sugar beet narrow gauge rail network, but it disappeared 50 years ago

Looks like the thing you need most, is more regular line maintenance - clearing down the greenery and mud during the off season. Maybe even have small self-powered carriages the locals can use to carry thier shopping etc, so there's enough traffic on the line to keep down the greenery.

We have to understand about sugar cane train activities, not passenger trains in general. The sugar cane train only runs during the sugar cane harvest, and before the sugar cane harvest starts, the locomotive will carry out a track inspection. After that the track will be cleaned by workers. So, for the first time before the sugar cane harvest season, it is normal for the tracks to be covered with grass or dirt. The important point here is that the road contractor had closed the tracks without confirmation, because the asphalt was still new (wet), the locomotive opened the crossing. Out of the milling season, all the workers at the sugar mill are on holiday, so there is no maintenance. by the way, this video has subtitle available, did you know that?? The parallels between narrow gauge farm trains and the larger private hobby railway sets is startling, you could probably earn tourist income in the off-seasons by running a miniature Steam Locomotive and ride-on carriages doing tours of the farms and local markets.

Fascinating these old school trains + tracks. We no longer have these types of railways in Western Europe. It's all modern and fast 140km/h and/or high speed 300km/h or more. Older old school railways are only in use as museum lines for tourists. Nice video!

Sbenernya ga ada hubungannya sama import enggaknya. Sekarang lebih milih pake truk karna kebun tebu sekarang bukan cuma ada di sekitar pabrik. Atau kebun milik persero an. Sekarang lbh banyak masyarakat yg juga menanam tebu. Jadi banyak yg jarak kebun dg pabrik bisa puluhan kilometer. Kalo pake lori kaya gini pasti lama. Mungkin penggunaan lori sekarang hanya bisa untuk jarak kebun yg tidak terlalu jauh.

Amazing to see what actually happens when a medium/heavy rail Loco meets up with a newly Asphalted Road and the rails are buried! It seemed to make no difference. I hoped the Loco was going to continue and cross over that iron-framed bridge - but it didn't. Maybe that will happen in the next Video! Thanks, Guys. Good video with unusual content. Michael G. UK.

Are the tracks covered like this because the vegetation grows so rapidly that the tracks get overgrown between harvests? And it was fascinating to watch the loco cross the asphalt! Thank you for a look at a completely different world than mine (I am in USA).

@@bangkokom kereta itu kendaraan paling efisien, karena satu lokomotif bisa angkut ratusan gerbong Cuman ya kelemahannya harus di jalurnya, beda sama truk yang bisa kemana2. Kereta pada umumnya juga gabisa mendaki jadi jalurnya harus benar2 datar.

Jamanku kecil th 90an,kalau naik bis paling sebel tiba2 bis berhenti lama gara2 nunggu lori lewat bawa tebu 😂😂🤭,udah di bis panas,desak2an,nunggu lorinya lewat itu jalannya lamaaa bgt dan puanjang bgt,bpkku pasti sibuk kipas2 pakai koran. Dagang tahu&kipas bulet warna merah gambar bunga auto laris 😁

Thank you for watching, This is a sugar cane train in Indonesia. The sugar cane train only runs during the sugar cane harvest, and before the sugar cane harvest starts, the locomotive will carry out a track inspection. After that the track will be cleaned by workers. So, for the first time before the sugar cane harvest season, it is normal for the tracks to be covered with grass or dirt. The important point here is that the road contractor had closed the tracks without confirmation, because the asphalt was still new (wet), the locomotive opened the crossing. Out of the milling season, all the workers at the sugar mill are on holiday, so there is no maintenance. by the way, this video has subtitle available, did you know that?? dulu di pati tepatnya PG Trangkil,Pati..setiap ada lori lewat bawa rangkaian tebu sllu naik buat ambil tebunya,sampai2 ada karyawan PGnya yg jaga..😁 dan lagi sllu buat pisau dari paku di taro rel agar di lindes buat ngupas tuh tebu..

Bagiku, perpaduan roda besi dengan rel baja adalah suatu mekanisme yang paling indah dan menarik. Jadi kalau melihat roda besi yang melindas aspal untuk mempertahankan eksistensinya, rasanya puasss buanget. 👍👍👍😀😀

Really sweet narrow gauge railroad! The United States used to have these but except for US Sugar’s South Central Florida Express, which is Standard gauge, they are all gone.

Alangkah baiknya dan kami berharap. Untuk jalur2 lori ( yg dahulu dipakai untuk alat angkut tebu ataupun tembakau dll) dibuka kembali. Minimal sebagai pariwisata rakyat dan alat angkut alternatif

Sayang sekali di daerahku desa sumberharjo-pemalang-jawatengah sudah tidak aktif lagi pabrik gulanya,dan untuk lokomotifnya sudah di musiumkan di dalam pabrik gula, Dan sekarang mpun jalur rel lokomotifnya sudah di ambil buat kongkalikong.

@@wastusinggeh3983 ну а смысл тогда продавливать колею на свежем асфальте пока тот не застыл если она старая и некому ненужная? разобрать на металлолом эту железку, профита больше будет, или эту колею еще используют и халатно относятся ко всему к примеру заасфальтировав её, всем пофигу на всех короче.

PG Semboro.. ingat kembali tahun 1973 waktu tinggal di Tanggul dan sekolah di SMP negeri 2 Jember setiap hari naik bus PG Semboro.. Teringat juga adanya gerak jalan *TAJEM TANGGUL JEMBER* Mantap. Makasih bang

Sungguh fenomena yg langka dan sejarah. Diharapkan ada kerja sama Pemda terkait agar cagar budaya sejarah bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai wisata alam untuk mengenalkan kepada penerus bangsa Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩

Dulu waktu SD sering sekali lihat lori tebu sampai di lahan tebu yang palimg jauh 8 km dari Pabrik Gula Madukismo Bantul, Yogyakarta, kink hanya melihat bekasnya saja, hikss
